FACTORY Edition is de rigueur these days and that’s exactly why STARK FUTURE is launching a very limited Enduro and MX Factory Edition onto the market. To be precise, there are 200 MX models and 300 Enduro (EX) models worldwide that will leave the hallowed Stromer halls in Barcelona as Factory Editions.
But the whole thing also costs and the following prices are charged:
- Stark Varg MX Factory Edition: 15,990 euros
- Stark Varg EX Factory Edition: 16,990 euros
This is of course a real financial announcement that should definitely have a corresponding value. So far only the French had broken the 15,000 euro mark with their EnduroGP models (LINK).
Does the surcharge make economic sense? Here are the technical features of the FACTORY EDITION models:
- High-quality Kayaba A-Kit suspension kit (48 fork * shock absorber) with Kashima coating on the standpipes and DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coating on the slide tubes. The choice of materials for the interior also received upgrades, including special coatings, adjustment options and special damping pistons
- Xtrig Preload Adjuster on the shock absorber
- Travel MX: 310 / 303mm
- Suspension travel EX: 300 / 303mm
- CNC machined aluminum triple clamps, numbered from 1 to 500

Stark Future has come up with a lot of ideas to take their Factory Edition to a new level. The Kayaba A-Kit with fork and shock absorber alone costs a whopping 5,500 euros when purchased (free trade), which means the surcharge is definitely lower than the standard EX or MX version. In the case of the MX 1.2 it is only 3,500 euros, which makes the additional investment definitely worth it if you want the A-Kit or need it for driving purposes. In the case of the EX it is 4,000 euros, which means you can drive significantly cheaper than the sum of the individual parts if you buy it later.
Do you need the factory upgrade? Not necessarily, but it’s still cool and the Stark Varg finally emerges from its visually conservative corner with an enhanced racing look thanks to the factory style.
There is currently no precise information on the subject of orderability, but Racing Director Sébastien Tortelli has something to say:
