- Cody Webb: This year’s Grinding Stone seemed gnarlier than ever. I don’t know if I’m getting older now or what, but I was honestly scared in the race this year. We kept plugging away and was happy to come away with. minimal damage to myself and the bike! Made some changes to the bike since Hawaii and was quite pleased with the performance in the main event. Just got to work on a few things myself and we’ll get back up there. Stoked on the weekend overall and super happy with getting 31 through the weekend safely. After two years in a row and two different blown out shoulders, it was rewarding to see him get through this race mentally and be set for the rest of the season. It was great having as my filmer/accomplice on the road, but I would rather have him out there racing.
- Matt Green: This race really was a challenge. Happy to come out the otherwise in one piece but not necessarily happy with my result of 10th place. I feel like I deserved 10th with the way I rode but also racing is racing and not everyday goes to plan.
