Nach dem Sieg in der MXGP und seinem Rücktritt von der Weltmeisterschaft Ende 2021 blieb ein letzter Traum – in der prestigeträchtigsten nationalen Motocross-Serie der Welt anzutreten. Dieser Traum wurde im Mai 2022 Wirklichkeit, als Tony beim Hangtown Motocross Classic an den Start ging und während seines ausgedehnten Besuchs in den USA drei weitere Rennen bestreiten würde.
Head to the USA with Tony Cairoli as the nine-time FIM Motocross World Champion takes on the opening four rounds of AMA Pro Motocross. Winning all there is to win in MXGP and stepping down from world championship duty at the end of 2021, one final dream remained – to compete in the most prestigious national motocross series in the world. That dream became a reality in May 2022 when Tony took to the start line at the Hangtown Motocross Classic and would go on to race a further three events during his extended visit to the USA.
