Was geht in 2023?

Sherco from France has meanwhile grown to become a sizeable player in the sports enduro sector and can also outperform the big names in the scene from a sporting point of view. But also from a technical point of view, they have been a pioneer for several years, for example with regard to electronic exhaust control. Because this enables the pilot in the twostroke segment to have two completely different engine characteristics that have never existed in this way without mechanical intervention. But also in terms of equipment, they went and will continue to go the high-end way with the Factory models and impress with top Kayaba suspension components or, for example, Selle-Dalla-Valle seat covers through to high-quality exhaust systems and vehicle portectors, just to name a few examples. And of course the Sherco Factory models are among the most visually attractive sport enduro bikes on the market. The last sentence is of course always a matter of taste – no question!

What’s up in 2023?

Sherco has more than kept a low profile during the presentation and relies on the tried and tested without any real changes and therefore refrains from updates. Except for the decals, of course, but you have to look closely here too to actually see the change from last year’s model. From a sporting point of view, the French are well positioned. Whether with Hamisch MacDonald, Zach Pichon, Mario Roman or Wade Young. It doesn’t matter whether it’s hardenduro or the EnduroGP – the bikes work and offer a convincing basis, as the top pilots prove. So for 2023 everything stays the same. And as everyone already knows, something new is not always necessarily better. However, there is one tiresome downer and it goes all by the term money or cash: According to the manufacturer, a price increase cannot be avoided due to well-known global economic developments.
