Das Prolog Gold Finale endete erst vor wenigen Minuten. Als Fünfter der Qualifikation gewann Taddy Blazusiak das Finale mit einem großartigen Rennen, bei dem erfahrene Fahrer wie Graham Jarvis, Jonny Walker oder Alfredo Gomez besiegt wurden. Der Brite Jonny Walker belegte den zweiten Platz, auch wenn er vom siebten Startplatz laut Startliste gestartet war. Den letzten Podiumsplatz sicherte sich Trial-Legende Pol Tarres bei seinem allerersten rumänischen Prolog – herzliche Glückwünsche!
