After nearly 20,000km with the Ineos Quartermaster, I’ve had enough time behind the wheel to get past the first impressions and start finding out what this 4WD is actually like to live with. Since my last update, the Quartermaster has been through some proper 4WDing, rough tracks, deep water crossings, ruts, recoveries and plenty of remote travel. Some things have impressed me more than expected, while other things still take some getting used to. The other big change is the switch from the full canopy to the Norweld half canopy. It completely changed the way I pack the Quartermaster and reduced the weight and rear overhang, but it also brought some compromises with storage, power and how much gear we can carry.
