The young gun Mitch Brightmore takes the first gold class victory in his career with an enthusiastic finish line. He thus held his own against the thoroughbred works drivers Manuel Lettenbichler and Trystan Hart. This is a small sensation, especially since he is not a works driver, but has been knocking on Manuel Lettenbichler’s door for quite some time to take over the scepter. Now the time has finally come. And if that wasn’t spectacular enough, his younger brother Ashton also won the junior class. What a one-two success for the X-Grip Team and its British riders.

Only eight drivers were able to complete six laps, while only seven of them crossed the finish line. Eddie Karlsson on his Stark Varg had to settle for eighth place and unfortunately did not make it over the finish line after 2:45:23.10.

Mario Roman was also lapped by the leaders, while Mitch, Trystan and Manuel fought for the lead. Trystan overtook Mitch, but the Briton hit back and passed Trystan again in the last 50 meters, making the decisive move for his first victory in the gold class of his career. Manuel Lettenbichler had nothing more to do with the outcome. The German was extremely impressed with Mitch’s driving performance and line choice. Finally, he predicts Mitch as the next Hard Enduro Superstar.

With this result, Mitch Brightmore moved up to Manuel Lettenbichler in the table and reduced the gap to only eight points.

His younger brother (junior classification) is currently shining in fourth place. A great brotherly overall performance.

The next stop is in Orza (Sweden), where a round of the Hard Enduro World Championship will be held for the first time on August 20-22, 2026 – completely new territory for everyone involved.
