The 2026 New Zealand Sprint Series delivered wild conditions, massive battles and some of the best sprint enduro racing yet. From the rain-soaked chaos of Marton to the rough, high-speed hills of Te Kuiti, defending champion Ryan Hayward was pushed to the limit by Sam Parker, James Scott and a stacked field of New Zealand’s top riders. Featuring huge saves, brutal crashes, mechanical drama and all-out attacks against the clock, this season review covers every major moment from the 2026 New Zealand Sprint Series – including Ryan Hayward’s dominant title run, Sam Parker’s XC1 championship campaign and Jayden McAloon’s breakout season. Although Round 3 was unfortunately cancelled, the series still delivered some of the greatest off-road racing action of the year.
