Afrika, die geistige Heimat der Yamaha Ténéré, wird die Kulisse für das neue Yamaha Ténéré World Raid Team bilden, das sich der Herausforderung des Africa Eco Race 2022 stellt, das ab dem 15.-30. Oktober von Monaco bis zum legendären Ziel in Dakar, Senegal, führt. Der Italiener Alessandro Botturi, Sieger der letzten beiden Ausgaben des Rennens und der Spanier Pol Tarres werden an Bord einer Rennversion der kürzlich eingeführten Ténéré 700 World Raid an der 14. Ausgabe der Rallye teilnehmen. Das neue Rallye-Programm markiert auch den Beginn einer Partnerschaft mit Riders for Health, einem ganz besonderen Sponsor, den Yamaha stolz im Ténéré World Raid Team beherbergt, um das Bewusstsein für die enorme Arbeit zu schärfen, die von der Wohltätigkeitsorganisation in Africa geleistet wird.
Africa, the spiritual home of the Yamaha Ténéré, will provide the backdrop for the new Yamaha Ténéré World Raid Team as they take on the challenge of the 2022 Africa Eco Race, which runs from Monaco to the legendary finish in Dakar, Senegal from October 15 – 30. Italian Alessandro Botturi, winner of the previous two editions of the race, and Spaniard Pol Tarres will contest the 14th edition of the rally aboard a race version of the recently launched Ténéré 700 World Raid. The new Rally program will also mark the start of a partnership with Riders for Health, a very special sponsor that Yamaha is proud to host on the Ténéré World Raid Team to raise awareness of the tremendous work carried out by the charity supplying, managing and maintaining motorcycles for health-focused operations in Africa.
