Rallye Breslau 2023: Alles steht vor dem Start – Viele Neuheiten bei Europas größter Offroad-Rallye
Nur noch wenige Tage bis zum Start der Rallye Breslau 2023. Europas ältester und größter Offroad-Wettbewerb findet vom 25. bis 30. Juni dieses Jahres zum 29. Mal auf dem herrlichen Militärgelände in Polen statt und wird wieder viele interessante Neuheiten mit sich bringen.
Auch in diesem Jahr startet der Marathon wieder in der Stadt Zagan im Süden Polens und endet in Drawsko Pomorskie. Beide Regionen bieten außergewöhnliche Rallye-Strecken für die beiden Kategorien Breslau – Cross-Country und Extreme. Wie in den letzten Jahren üblich, wird das Rennen einen Prolog und fünf Etappen umfassen.
Die Gesamtstrecke der Strecke beträgt ca. 1250 km, davon sind Wettkampfabschnitte 950 km lang. Der größte Teil der Strecke wird aus unbefestigten Straßen bestehen, aber auch Schotter und vor allem Sand werden einen wichtigen Teil der Rallye ausmachen. Ebenso werden die Schlammlöcher und die tiefen Flussüberquerungen ein ikonischer Teil des Extremrennens sein. Die Teilnehmer werden sich erneut der legendären Nachtetappe stellen und uns erwarten einige neue und anspruchsvolle Terrains.
Unter dem Startbogen in Zagan werden mehr als 220 Rennfahrzeuge erwartet, und auch hier werden die SSVs in der Cross-Country-Kategorie die am stärksten frequentierten Gruppen sein, da die kleinen Buggys bei Rallye-Raids auf der ganzen Welt immer beliebter werden. Auch in der Motorradklasse und wie üblich bei den Autos wird es starke Konkurrenz geben. Interessant wird es in der Extreme-Kategorie, wo Veteranen und Neueinsteiger sowohl in der Pkw- als auch in der Lkw-Klasse aufeinandertreffen.
Eine der größten Neuheiten ist die Einführung der Ultra4-Klasse zum ersten Mal in der Geschichte Breslaus. Die Vordenker der Rennserie – Alexander Kovatchev und Dave Cole – haben eine offizielle Partnerschaft geschlossen und laden die Teilnehmer in Polen ein. Ultra4 Europe wird die Rallye Breslau in seinen adrenalingeladenen Rennkalender für 2023 aufnehmen. Die exotischen und leistungsstarken Fahrzeuge werden eine eigene Wertung haben und folgen die Cross-Country-Route.
Ein weiterer Wendepunkt ist die Einführung der digitalen Roadbooks. Für die Rallye Breslau 2023 werden sie zusammen mit dem traditionellen, auf Papier gedruckten Exemplar angeboten. RBI Sport ist bekannt für Innovationen in Bezug auf technische Lösungen für die Rallye-Kontrolle und Zeitmessungslösungen. Das digitale Roadbook ist ein wichtiger Teil der gesamten technologischen Weiterentwicklung und Digitalisierung, die RBI Sport vorantreibt. Die Teilnehmer können wählen, welches Roadbook-Format sie während der Rallye verwenden möchten. RBI empfiehlt jedoch jedem dringend, neben dem Papier auch das digitale Roadbook zu verwenden, da die Anwendung nicht nur die Roadbook-Tulpen anzeigt, sondern auch eine leistungsfähige und komplexe Navigationsplattform ist, die Sie permanent durch Wegpunkte und Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzungszonen führt und vor Gefahren warnt , usw.
Für diejenigen, die das digitale Roadbook ausprobieren möchten, ist keine teure oder spezielle Ausrüstung erforderlich. Jeder kann die App im Google Play Store auf ein Tablet oder Smartphone herunterladen. Dort wird das gesamte Roadbook mit allen Einzelheiten verfügbar sein. Für die Teilnehmer ist es kostenlos. Für dieses System sind keine Anzahlungen erforderlich.
Zu guter Letzt wird die Rallye Breslau 2023 reduzierte Anforderungen an die Kraftstoffautonomie mit sich bringen. Die maximale Entfernung zwischen den Tankvorgängen beträgt 100–110 km für Enduro und ATV und 150 km für SSV, Pkw und Lkw. Es sind also keine zusätzlichen oder größeren Tanks für Enduro, ATV und SSV erforderlich. Außerdem wird es neben dem bekannten Camp in Zagan ein ganz neues Camp in der Gegend von Recz geben, wo wir erfahren werden, wer die großen Gewinner der 29. Rallye Breslau sind. Rallye Breslau 2023: all set before the start – Lots of novelties with the Europe’s biggest off-road rally
Just few days left before the start of Rallye Breslau 2023. Europe’s oldest and biggest off-road competition will take it’s 29th edition between 25 and 30 June this year in the magnificent military terrains in Poland and once again will bring a lot of interesting novelties.
This year the marathon will start again in the city of Zagan in the south part of Poland and will finish in Drawsko Pomorskie. Both regions offer extraordinary rally routes for both the categories of Breslau – Cross-Country and Extreme. As a tradition in the last years, the race will offer prologue and 5 legs.
The total distance of the itinerary will be approximately 1250 km, from which competitive sections will be 950 km. The biggest part of the route will include dirt tracks, but gravel and especially sand will be also important portion of the rally. As well as the mud holes and the deep river crossings will be iconic part of the extreme race. Once again, the competitors will face the legendary night stage and we can expect some new and demanding terrains.
More than 220 racing vehicles are expected under the start arch in Zagan and again the most crowded groups will be that of SSVs in the Cross-Country category as the small buggies become more and more popular in the rally-raid all over the world. There will be also strong competition in the bike class and as usual among the cars. It will be interesting in the Extreme category, where veterans and newcomers will meet both in the car and the truck classes.
On of the biggest novelties is the introducing of Ultra4 class for the first time in the history of Breslau. The masterminds behind the racing series – Alexander Kovatchev and Dave Cole made official partnership and invite the competitors in Poland and Ultra4 Europe will include Rallye Breslau to its adrenaline pumping race calendar for 2023. The exotic and powerful vehicles will have their separate ranking and will follow the cross-country itinerary.
Another turning point is the introduction of the digital roadbooks. For Rallye Breslau 2023 they will be offered along with the traditional, printed on paper. Last but not least, Rallye Breslau 2023 will offer reduced fuel autonomy requirements. Maximal distance between refueling will be 100 – 110 km for Enduro and ATV and 150 km for SSV, Cars and Trucks.
