Streckenänderungen und später Start markierten die erste Etappe in Drawsko
Als die Rallye Breslau 2022 in ihre dritte Etappe startete, verließ der Konvoi Zagan und fuhr in Richtung Drawsko Pomorskie, wo das zweite und letzte Biwak für diese Ausgabe errichtet wurde.
Im Programm waren zwei Wertungsprüfungen mit Start am Nachmittag vorgesehen. Aus verschiedenen Gründen wurde der Start von Etappe 3 jedoch verschoben und die ersten Teilnehmer betraten die Strecke nach 20 Uhr abends. Zunächst gab es Änderungen mit Genehmigung der Militärbehörden, weil die Aktivitäten der Armee in den Polygonen erweitert wurden. Hinzu kamen Änderungen im Zufahrtsregime zum Biwak und zum Trainingsgelände, sowie die Schwierigkeiten bei der Fortbewegung der Assistenzfahrzeuge, sowie die Sperrung einiger Zufahrten im Bereich durch falsch geparkte Fahrzeuge der Assistenzteams.
Alle vorgenannten Tatsachen machten eine Verschiebung des Starts und eine Änderung der Etappe erforderlich. Somit fuhren die Teilnehmer aus den beiden Gruppen (GR1 Bikes, Quads, Trucks und GR 2 Cars/SSVs) nur einen selektiven Abschnitt. Die Gruppe aus Motorrädern, Quads und Lastwagen startete mit 81,86 km gegen die Uhr in den gezeiteten Abschnitt „Pomierzyn“, und die Autos und Buggys standen vor der „Czertyn“-Etappe mit etwas mehr als 83 Wettbewerbskilometern. Schließlich wurden die Strecken für die CC- und EX-Fahrzeuge getrennt, und die extremen Konkurrenten wurden zu den legendären Sümpfen und Löchern im Drawsko-Gebiet zum „Nachtwinden“ geschickt.
Wir beginnen mit der ATV-Klasse, denn die Fahrer waren die Schnellsten in der gemischten Gruppe. Den Tagessieg sicherte sich Adomas Gancierius (CFMOTO) aus Lettland, der dem Franzosen Gaetan Martinez (Can Am) 37 Sekunden abnahm. Gancierius ist nun auch vorläufiger Tabellenführer in der Gesamtwertung.
Schnellster auf 2 Rädern war der niederländische Pilot Eduard Hillebrand (KTM), der sich mit Michal Janaszek einen guten Fight lieferte. Führender der Motorradklasse nach den ersten 3 Etappen ist jedenfalls Bartlomiej Tabin (KTM) aus Polen, der tagsüber auf dem 8. Platz landete.
Michiel Becx mit Arcane T3 gewann die Etappe in der SSV-Klasse, nachdem er 57 Sekunden vor seinem niederländischen Landsmann Kees Box (Can Am) gewonnen hatte. Becx ist immer noch Zweiter in der Gesamtwertung, da der 7. Platz seines Teamkollegen Hans Wejsbest die beste Position in der Gesamtwertung innehat.
Bei den Cars Cross-Country war Urvo Mannama wieder einmal perfekt und nach dem Finish mit der besten Zeit in der Klasse ist der estnische Pilot des Century C6 Leder in der vorläufigen Klassifizierung. Tageszweiter wurde Rick Van Den Brink (Borgward DKR), aber diese Position im Gesamtklassement gehört seinem Landsmann Ronald Schoolderman (Mitsubishi). Schließlich fahren William Van Groningen mit Iveco die Bestzeit in der Truck-Cross-Country-Klasse, ebenso wie Steffen Braun (Unimog) in der Gruppe Extreme Trucks.
Apropos Extreme: In der Autoklasse holte Hardo Mere einen weiteren Etappensieg. Aber es reichte ihm nicht, Romain Porcher (5. des Tages) einzuholen, der in der Gesamtwertung an der Spitze liegt, gefolgt von Bartosz Puchowski (7. Platz auf Leg3). Mere hält die 3. Position.
Etappe 4 der Rallye Breslau 2022 bietet zwei Wertungsprüfungen mit einer Gesamtdistanz von fast 165 Kilometern gegen die Uhr. Die Teilnehmer müssen bedenken, dass es laut Vorhersage auf dem Feld regnen kann.

Route modifications and late start marked the first stage in Drawsko
As Rallye Breslau 2022 entered its third and middle leg, the convoy of the race leaved Zagan and headed toward Drawsko Pomorskie where was set the second and last bivouac for this edition.
In the menu, there were planned two special stages with start in the afternoon. However, due to some different reasons, the start of leg 3 was postponed and the first competitors entered the track after 20 o’clock in the evening. First of all, there were changes with the permission from the military authorities because the army’s activities in the polygons, were extended. There were also changes in the access regime for the bivouac and the training ground, as well as the difficulties in the movement of the assistant cars, plus blocking of some of the approaches in the area due to incorrectly parked vehicles of the assistance teams.
All the aforementioned facts necessitated the postponement of the start and modification of the stage. Thus, the competitors from the two groups (GR1 bikes, quads, trucks and GR 2 cars/SSVs) drove only one selective section. The group of bikes, quads and trucks started the timed section “Pomierzyn” with 81,86 km against the clock, and the cars and buggies faced “Czertyn” stage, with little more than 83 competitive kilometers. Finally, the routes were separated for the CC and EX vehicles, and the extreme competitors were sent to the legendary swamps and holes in the Drawsko area, for a “night winching”.
We start with the ATV class, because the riders were the fastest in the mixed group. The daily win was claimed by Adomas Gancierius (CFMOTO) from Latvia, who stole 37 seconds to the Frenchman Gaetan Martinez (Can Am). Gancierius is now also provisional leader in the general standings.
Fastest on 2 wheels was the Dutch pilot Eduard Hillebrand (KTM), who made good fight with Michal Janaszek. Anyway, leader of the bike class after the first 3 legs is Bartlomiej Tabin (KTM) from Poland, who finished on 8th place during the day.
Michiel Becx with Arcane T3 won the stage in the SSV class, after claiming 57 second from his Dutch compatriot Kees Box (Can Am). Becx is still second in the overall, as the 7th place of his teammate Hans Wejsbest to hold the best position in the general standings.
As for the Cars Cross-Country, Urvo Mannama was once again perfect and after finish with the best time in the class, the Estonian pilot of Century C6 is leather in the provisional classification. Second for the day finished Rick Van Den Brink (Borgward DKR), but this position in the overall is for his fellow countryman Ronald Schoolderman (Mitsubishi). Finally, William Van Groningen with Iveco is holding the best time in the Truck cross-country class, as it does Steffen Braun (Unimog) in the Extreme Trucks group.
Speaking about Extreme, in the car class Hardo Mere took another stage victory. But it was not enough for him to catch up Romain Porcher (5th for the day), who is on top in the general standings, followed by Bartosz Puchowski (7th place on Leg3). Mere holds the 3rd position.
Leg 4 of Rallye Breslau 2022 will offer two special stages with total distance of almost 165 kilometers against the clock. The competitors must keep in mind, that according the forecast, it might be rain in the field.
