Der offizielle Start für die Maxxis Cross Country Saison 2021 erfolgte ja bereits am 05. Oktober vergangen Jahres und bis heute haben sich über 700 Fahrer in die Serie eingeschrieben.
Der derzeitige Trend zur „allgemeinen Öffnung“ u.a. auch für verschiedene Sportveranstaltungen lässt zwar hoffen, aber konkrete Zusagen seitens der Behörden gibt es leider immer noch nicht. Sicherheitshalber wird der Veranstalter Baboons deshalb den geplanten GCC Lauf am 10. / 11. April in Triptis auf den 3. / 4. Juli verschieben, was damit auch den Termin für die die Einschreibegebühr betrifft, der auf den ersten April verschoben wird. Den Nennungsstart für die einzelnen GCC Rennen planen wir derzeit für den 15. April.
Der erste Start zur GCC Saison 2021 und damit Saisonauftakt wird daher in Walldorf am 08./09. Mai stattfinden. Alle anderen GCC Termine werden wie geplant beibehalten.
The official start for the Maxxis Cross Country Championship 2021 took place on October 5th last year and over 700 drivers have registered for the series till now.
The current trend towards “general opening”, including for various sporting events, gives reason to hope, but unfortunately the authorities have still not made any concrete commitments. To be on the safe side, the organizer Baboons will therefore postpone the planned GCC run on April 10th / 11th in Triptis to July 3rd / 4th, which will also affect the date for the registration fee, which will be postponed to April 1st. We are currently planning the start of entries for the individual GCC races for April 15th.
The first start of the GCC season 2021 and thus the season opener will be take place in Walldorf on 08./09. of may. All other GCC dates will be kept as planned.
