Das Warten hat sich gelohnt, denn die über zwei Jahre aufgestaute Energie kommt jetzt ohne irgendwelche Zwänge zum Ausbruch und generiert einen genialen ersten Action-Tag am Berg aus Eisen.
MITAS ROCKET RIDE
Das ist nicht nur irgendein kleiner Anreger für die Offroad-Szene, sondern ein echtes Hillclimb-Rennen mit insgesamt vier Hängen und deren Übergänge sorgten für spektakuläre Vollgas-Jumps. Insgesamt stellten sich dieser Disziplin knapp 240 Fahrer aus 20 Nationen. Darunter befinden sich natürlich auch wieder die Spezialisten, die hauptsächlich für dieses Event am Start standen. Dazu gehört natürlich Ossi Reisinger aus Österreich, als 5-facher Sieger und sein Landsmann Seppi Fally mit zwei Siegen auf seinem Konto.
Und wer Ambitionen fürs 48 Mann starke Finale hatte, musste sich erst einmal durch die Qualifikation kämpfen. Beeindruckend war mal wieder die Leistung des Spaniers Pol Tarres, der auf seiner Yamaha Tenere 700 Reiseenduro ins Finale fuhr. Und dann ging es Schlag auf Schlag und genauso war auch Seppi Fally mit einem beeindruckenden und fehlerfreien Finallauf unterwegs und fuhr der Konkurrenz nur so um die Ohren. Pech hatte Ossi Reisinger, der bereits beim Start zu Boden musste, da er mit einem anderen Teilnehmer auf Körperkontakt ging. Ein Hammer-Ergebnis erzielt der junge Italiener Sonny Goggia, der eigentlich zu den talentiertesten Nachwuchsfahrern im Hardenduro-Segment gehört. Aber anscheinend kann er auch richtig schnell, wenn es darauf ankommt. Und der sechste Platz von Pol Tarres mit seinem 200-kg-Eisenhaufen ist mehr als nur beachtlich und verdient von uns den vollen Respekt.

Aktuell befindet sich schon die erste Hälfte der 1500 Teilnehmer im sechsten Gang auf Highspeed-Jagd beim Blakläder Iron Road Prolog, um sich einen der begehrten 500 Startplätze für das Finale am Sonntag zu erkämpfen, was sicherlich nicht leicht wird.

This isn’t just some little stimulus for the off-road scene, but a real hillclimb race with a total of four slopes and their transitions made for spectacular full-throttle jumps. A total of almost 240 drivers from 20 nations took part in this discipline. Of course, this also includes the specialists who were mainly at the start for this event. Of course, this includes Ossi Reisinger from Austria, as a 5-time winner and his compatriot Seppi Fally with two victories to his credit.
And those who had ambitions for the 48-strong final first had to fight their way through the qualification. The performance of the Spaniard Pol Tarres, who drove to the final on his Yamaha Tenere 700 travel enduro, was once again impressive. And then it all happened in quick succession and Seppi Fally was also on the road with an impressive and flawless final run and just drove into the ears of the competition. Bad luck for Ossi Reisinger, who had to fall to the ground at the start because he made physical contact with another participant. The young Italian Sonny Goggia, who is actually one of the most talented young riders in the hard enduro segment, achieved a great result. But apparently he can also be really fast when it counts. And Pol Tarres‘ sixth place with his 200kg iron pile is more than impressive and deserves our full respect.
