Dieser Grand Prix von Acerbis in Italien hat einen großartigen Start hingelegt, denn der Gewinner des Tages ist der fünffache Weltmeister Antoine MEO (FRA-Honda) mit einem atemberaubenden Ergebnis von 1:52,88.
Der Franzose hat nichts von seiner fantastischen Geschwindigkeit eingebüßt. Den Sieg holt er sich vor Matteo CAVALLO (ITA-Sherco) und Spezialist des Supertests Alex SALVINI (ITA-Honda) – trotz Schulterschmerzen. Tolle Leistung von Hugo BLANJOUE (FRA-KTM) auf P4 und Steve HOLCOMBE (GBR-Beta) auf P5 – 2 Sekunden hinter dem «Alligator».

Ruy BARBOSA (CHI-Husqvarna) erzielt mit 1:54,87 die beste Zeit in der Juniorenklasse. Er gewinnt von Andrea VERONA (ITA-TM) und Krystof KOUBLE (CZE-KTM). Hamish MCDONALD (NZ-Sherco) liegt bei seiner Rückkehr in die 125er Klasse nur zwei Sekunden hinter dem Sieger Sergio NAVARRO (ESP-Husqvarna) auf dem vierten Platz. Jilani CAMBRE (BEL-Husqvarna) hat mit 1:58,97 die Bestzeit für die Open-Klasse geliefert.
Der Race-Abend endete mit einem Feuerwerk mit dem Race of Legend: 22 ehemalige Fahrer und 36 Weltmeistertitel haben um den Sieg gekämpft. Ivan CERVANTES (ESP) hat als erster das erste Rennen der Legende anlässlich des 30-jährigen Bestehens der Enduro-Weltmeisterschaft gewonnen hat. Jarno Boano (ITA) wurde Zweiter und Alessio Paoli (ITA) Dritter.

The Valli Bergamasche is a myth and the Tifofis know that really well, they have massively answered to the invitation to give a standing ovation to all the heroes of the Maxxis FIM World Enduro Championship. Dispatched in every corner of the huge Akrapovic SuperTest drawn by the Bergamo MotoClub, the audience was not disappointed a second by the show provided on track.
This Acerbis Italian Grand Prix got off to a great start as the winner of the day is a five times world Champion Antoine MEO (FRA-Honda) with a stunning 1:52.88. The Frenchman has not lost a bit of his fantastic speed.
He gets the victory from Matteo CAVALLO (ITA- Sherco) and a specialist of the Supertest Alex SALVINI (ITA-Honda) despite his sore shoulder. Great performance from Hugo BLANJOUE (FRA-KTM) P4 and Steve HOLCOMBE (GBR-Beta) P5, 2 seconds behind the « Alligator ».
