Final Stage 2 – BAJA EUROPE 2025

Final Showdown: Leg 2 Wraps Up Baja Europe 2025 in Style

The final day of Baja Europe 2025 delivered exactly what we hoped for—and more. As on the previous day, the Enduro and ATV competitors took off early in the morning, while the SSV, Car, and Truck classes began their challenge in the late morning, diving into the last and decisive leg of the rally.

Leg 2, spanning 117 kilometers, was the ultimate test of endurance, precision, and strategic thinking. With everything still to play for, it offered one final chance to push the limits and chase a spot on the podium. From the first light of dawn to the last finisher crossing the line, the atmosphere was charged with anticipation, adrenaline, and raw determination.

After days of intense off-road racing, the final stage brought out the very essence of Baja Europe. Through forests, dunes, and winding tracks, competitors gave it their all. Some sought redemption after early setbacks; others defended hard-earned positions in the rankings. Whatever their goal, every team displayed the kind of resilience, focus, and courage that defines this legendary event.

The Leg 2 finale was as tactical as it was fast. With the leaderboard wide open, the stage became a gripping showdown of last-minute overtakes, bold route choices, and emotional comebacks. Crews navigated not only the physical demands of the course, but also the mental challenge of racing under pressure with fatigue setting in.

Despite the strain of back-to-back days on punishing terrain, spirits remained high. The roar of engines echoed through the Polish Sahara and beyond, cheered on by spectators who lined the course at key points, offering support and energy to the passing racers.

Baja Europe 2025 concluded with all the ingredients of a world-class rally—speed, strategy, spectacle, and sportsmanship. An unforgettable finale to an extraordinary adventure.

Final Standings: Champions Crowned After three Intense Days at Baja Europe

After an intense head-to-head battle between Gerlach and Tabin over Legs 1 and 2, the final victory in the Enduro class went to Bartlomiej Tabin of Poland, who completed the rally with a total time of 04:36:21.27. His closest rival, Justin Gerlach, secured second place, finishing 18 and a half minutes behind. Third place went to another Polish rider, Michal Janaszek, whose consistent performance throughout the event earned him a well-deserved spot on the podium, despite never breaking into the daily top three.

In the ATV class, Adam Krysiak dominated the race from the very first kilometer, earning him the well-deserved title of “ King of the Polish Sahara.“ Krysiak crossed the finish line with a total time of 04:52:41.84. Fellow countryman Karol Slugocki held onto second place throughout all three stages, securing that position overall. Third place was claimed by Germany’s Andrej Termer.

In the SSV class—the “light four-wheel” category—Lithuania managed to win the Baja Europe 2025 but couldn’t achieve a full podium sweep, interrupted by the strong performance of Poland’s Grzegorz Gasiorowski. Despite missing out on the top three in Leg 2, Arunas and Edgaras Simanavicius of Lithuania clinched the overall win with a total time of 04:12:24.57. In a surprising twist, Gasiorowski and co-driver Katarzyna Szalega secured second place, while fellow Lithuanians Dalius Olechnavicius and Romualdas Karuzis completed the podium in third.

No surprises in the car category: the Estonian-Polish crew of Hardo Mere and Piotr Kujawski maintained their dominance from start to finish, claiming overall victory with a total time of 04:33:35.30. Over 40 minutes behind, rising talent Jenne Jasper, navigated by Marijn Verbeek, took second place, pushing Frank Stensky and Alexander Tasch of Germany into third.

In the truck category, the Netherlands triumphed over Germany. The trio of Marnix Leeuw, Roy Van Veenendaal, and Marco Siemons secured final victory despite having to concede the Leg 2 win to Tom Heuer. Leeuw’s crew stopped the clock at 05:15:16.30. Germany still claimed the remaining podium spots, with Patrick and Kevin Toepfer alongside Danny Heyde in second place, followed by Adrian Bernhard and Eduard Degner in third.
