„A Thousand Miles From Nowhere“ ist ein Film über das 7x-Team und den Versuch, seine Siegesserie bei der Baja 1000 2023 fortzusetzen. Über 2080 Kilometer: Beginnend in La Paz und endend in Ensenada wäre dies das längste 1000-Meilen-Rennen aller Zeiten Termin für Mark Samuels und sein Team.
Jeder weiß, dass The Thousand eines der gefährlichsten Rennen ist. Nach so vielen siegreichen Abschlüssen könnte man annehmen, dass das Drehbuch darauf ausgelegt ist, dass das 7x-Team erneut gewinnt; Aber hier beginnt die Geschichte. Dies ist eine wirklich herzzerreißende Geschichte über die wahren Gefahren von Rennmotorrädern. Dabei bekommen alle Zuschauer einen Einblick, was das Team wirklich an den Start bringt. Dieser Sport ist alles andere als einfach, alles andere als sicher und ganz sicher weit entfernt von einem Krankenhaus.
„A Thousand Miles From Nowhere“ is a short film about the 7x team and the attempt to continue their winning streak at the 2023 Baja 1000. Over 1300 miles: starting in La Paz and ending in Ensenada, this would be the longest 1000 race to date for Mark Samuels and his team.
Everyone knows that The Thousand is one of the most dangerous races. After so many victorious finishes, one might assume that the script is set for the 7x team to win again; But this is where the story begins. This is a truly heartbreaking story about the true dangers of racing motorcycles. All spectators get an insight into what the team really brings to the table. This sport is far from easy, far from safe and certainly far from a hospital.
