On Saturday, the AUNER HardEnduroSeries Germany will begin its 2026 season in Neuhaus-Schierschnitz. This marks the ninth season of the popular hard enduro championship, which already promises several new features at the opening round. In addition to the series organization, many of these innovations are made possible by the host club MC Isolator.
Compared to previous years, the track has been significantly modified. For the first time the course will also pass through the sand pit, which will noticeably extend the overall track length. Between the club area known as “Biene” and the sand pit, riders will also face newly created enduro trails that will add even more variety to the race.

Between the club area known as “Biene” and the sand pit, riders will also face newly created enduro trails that will add even more variety to the race.
As always, spectacular action is expected at the “Biene” section, where numerous artificial obstacles have once again been built. New challenging sections have also been added this year, which will demand a lot from the riders and should lead to exciting racing.
Full rider field in the AUNER HardEnduroSeries Germany and the HESG Kids classes
Never before have so many riders registered for the race in Neuhaus-Schierschnitz. Around 150 competitors are expected to take part in the season opener and battle for the first important championship points of the year.
The series already published a comprehensive favourites preview last week. One thing is already clear: the fight for the victory is completely open. After last year’s dramatic season opener, which already set the course for Milan Schmüser’s eventual championship victory, riders and fans can expect another thrilling race this time.
However, Schmüser will not be present at the opener this year, shifting the focus initially to Henry Strauss, Leon Hentschel and Marc Wulf. Strauss, the 2024 champion, is once again among the top title contenders. Series record holder Hentschel brings a wealth of experience, while Wulf has also been one of the fastest riders in recent seasons and could fight for the win as well.
Exciting races are also expected in the HESG Kids classes. Especially in the 65cc class, Jannis Baum is a very interesting new entry. Baum recently dominated the RockOil Enduro Wintercup and will now try to fight for top positions in the AUNER HardEnduroSeries Germany as well.
The most extensive supporting program in the history of the series
There will also be plenty happening off the track this year. Visitors in Neuhaus-Schierschnitz can look forward to the large Motorrad.versicherung HESG Village, featuring numerous vendor stands from the series partners.
A popular tradition will also return: the autograph session with the top riders of the series. Starting at 3:30 PM, fans will have the opportunity to collect autographs and meet their favourite riders in person.
Another highlight is the Stark Reverse Challenge, which will take place as a side event at every round this season. The challenge is to ride a Stark Varg motorcycle backwards for the longest possible distance. The electric bike will be provided on site and interested participants can register online or, if there are still places available, directly at the event.
Visitors who want to take a closer look at the Stark Future electric motorcycles will also have the opportunity to do so in the Motorrad.versicherung HESG Village.
Packed schedule on Saturday
Race day on Saturday begins already at 8:45 AM with the ACE Bikes Prolog Award, where riders compete for the best starting positions in the group races.
After the following group races and the HESG Kids races, the big final will take place in the afternoon. The start of the main race is scheduled for 4:15 PM, when the best riders of the AUNER HardEnduroSeries Germany will battle for the first victory of the season.

Schottenberg Enduro on Sunday
Anyone who still wants more racing action after the season opener will get another chance on Sunday. The Schottenberg Enduro will start at 10:00 AM, offering more enduro action on an extended course.
