🇦🇹 JARVE 2026: Graham Jarvis produces motorcycles – the silent way!

The GOAT (Greatest Of All Time) of Hard Enduro baut und entwickelt Motorräder und zwar in Österreich. Und nein, es nicht KTM, die ja von BAJAJ übernommen wurde. Sondern ein frisch gegründetes Unternehmen in dem die Hard Enduro Ikone Graham Jarvis (GBR) gemeinsam mit Ing. Dave Freidinger ein kompromissloses Wettkampfgerät entwickelt, dass aber auf leisen Sohlen daher kommt.

Das Bike respektive die Firma nennt sich JARV-E und macht tatsächlich ernst. Laut Angaben knapp 25 Kilogramm leichter als einen Stark, 50 KW Leistung (umgerechnet ca. 68 PS) die mehr als genug erscheinen und für maximale Kontrolle wurde das Chassis extrem kompakt und schmal designt. 95 Kilogramm fahrfertig ist schon eine Ansage und ist im Verbrenner-Segment ungefähr mit einem 85er MX-Bike zu vergleichen, nur das deutlich mehr Power zu Verfügung steht. Ob das kompakte Design aus ergonomischer Sicht auch großgewachsene Fahrer begeistern wird bleibt abzuwarten.

Ein weiteres Highlight ist das Wechseln der 5,6 kWh Batterie, denn das ist in 30 Sekunden möglich. Geladen wird mit bis zu 3,4 kW bei einer Ladezeit von 1,5 Stunden von ganz leer bis voll und natürlich wie es sich für ein E-Bike gehört sind Leistungsmodis, Rekuperation und mehr über eine App problemlos anzupassen. Die Fahrzeit wird maximal auf fünf Stunden im Super Eco-Modus für weniger anspruchsvolle Trails beziffert. Der Verkaufsstart des in Österreich produzierten Geräts soll 2026 erfolgen und man startet zunächst mit einer Sonderedition Graham Jarvis Signature RAW Modell durch, die ab sofort in limitierter Anzahl vorbestellt werden kann – eine kleine Anzahlung inklusive.

Die JARV-E ist auf Basis eine Hard-Enduro- und Trail-Enduro-Geometrie entwickelt worden. Klassische 21/18-Zoll Radgrößen, CrMo-Stahlrohr-Rahmen, hochwertige SIRRIS-Fahrwerks-Komponenten, diverse CNC gefräste High-End-Bauteile bis hin zu einer aus dem Vollen gefrästen Schwinge.

Über Graham Jarvis braucht man keine weiteren Worte verlieren, da sind die Fakten definitiv klar.

Dave Freidinger ist der Gründer, Ingenieur und technischer Visionär des Projekts und ist seit mehr als 20 Jahren im Bereich MX, Hard Enduro und Quad MX sowie als Fahrwerkshersteller und Rennbike-Ingenieur unterwegs. Er spezialisierte sich auf kundenspezifische Rennrahmen und Geometrie Setups und wechselte anschließend in die Fahrzeugentwicklung.

Der Prototyp der JARV-E entstand schon vor fünf Jahren unter den Namen EDURO. Graham Jarvis war von dem Projekt sofort überzeugt und gründete mit Dave die JARV-E Moto GmbH. Das die Jungs es ernst meinen, dürfte schon alleine die Stellenausschreibungen untermauern. In allen Bereichen wird für den Standort Nötsch in Österreich Personal in Vollzeit gesucht. Vom Konstrukteur, Ingenieur über den Techniker bis hin zum Lagerristen. Also, da scheint was zu kommen, denn alleine schon der Name von Graham wird definitiv ziehen.

Hinsichtlich eines Verkaufspreises hält man sich aktuell noch bedeckt. Aber über den online Vorbestellungsvorgang werden sicherlich noch ein paar weitere Informationen offenbart.

But a freshly founded company in which the hard enduro icon Graham Jarvis (GBR) develops an uncompromising competition device together with Ing. Dave Freidinger, but one that comes along quietly.

The bike or rather the company is called JARV-E and is actually serious. According to information, almost 25 kilograms lighter than a Stark, 50 KW of power (equivalent to approx. 68 hp) which seem more than enough and for maximum control, the chassis has been designed to be extremely compact and narrow. 95 kilograms ready to ride is already an announcement and can be compared to an 85cc MX bike in the combustion engine segment, only that significantly more power is available. It remains to be seen whether the compact design will also inspire tall drivers from an ergonomic point of view.

Another highlight is changing the 5.6 kWh battery, because this can be done in 30 seconds. Charging is done with up to 3.4 kW with a charging time of 1.5 hours from completely empty to full and, of course, as befits an e-bike, power modes, recuperation and more can be easily adjusted via an app. The riding time is estimated at a maximum of five hours in Super Eco mode for less demanding trails. The sales launch of the device, which is produced in Austria, is scheduled for 2026 and will initially start with a special edition Graham Jarvis Signature RAW model, which can be pre-ordered now in limited quantities – including a small deposit.

The JARV-E has been developed on the basis of a hard enduro and trail enduro geometry. Classic 21/18-inch wheel sizes, CrMo tubular steel frames, high-quality SIRRIS suspension components, various CNC-machined high-end components and a swingarm milled from solid metal.

There is no need to say anything more about Graham Jarvis, the facts are definitely clear.

Dave Freidinger is the founder, engineer and technical visionary of the project and has been in MX, Hard Enduro and Quad MX for more than 20 years, as well as a suspension manufacturer and race bike engineer. He specialized in custom racing frames and geometry setups and then moved into vehicle development.

The prototype of the JARV-E was created five years ago under the name EDURO. Graham Jarvis was immediately convinced of the project and founded JARV-E Moto GmbH with Dave. The fact that the guys are serious should be underpinned by the job advertisements alone. Full-time staff is being sought in all areas for the Nötsch site in Austria. From the designer, engineer to the technician to the warehouse clerk. Well, there seems to be something coming, because Graham“s name alone will definitely pull.

With regard to a sales price, they are currently still keeping a low profile. But about the online pre-order process, a few more information will certainly be revealed.
