With a change of weather on day two, some wondered if it would result in a change of the leaderboard in EnduroGP. On the opening ACERBIS Cross Test, TM MOTO Boano Factory Enduro Team’s Zach Pichon clocked the quickest time to establish an early lead.

But Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Josep Garcia was not far behind in second, and the Spaniard was unfazed by the Welsh rain. Winning both the opening POLISPORT Extreme Test and GMOTO Enduro Test, before closing out lap one with a win on the ACERBIS Cross Test, Garcia was now in the driving seat for top honours.

Pichon was determined to give chase and kept Garcia honest throughout the day. After eight special tests, it was all still to play for, with only six seconds separating the duo. But on the GMOTO Enduro Test, the penultimate special test of the day, it was Pichon who cracked, losing 27 seconds in the process. With the breathing room he needed, Garcia completed the final ACERBIS Cross Test in second to secure the overall win.

All told, it was an impeccable ride for Pichon, with just one mistake proving costly. Bouncing back to win the final test, he cemented his runner-up result.

Behind the top two, the battle was between Honda Racing RedMoto Enduro Team’s Samuele Bernardini and Triumph Factory Racing Enduro Team’s Mikael Persson, with Team KTM Pro Racing Sport’s Max Ahlin close behind, too. Bernardini held tight to claim his second visit to the EnduroGP podium this season with third. Persson ended his day fourth, just holding off Ahlin by one second.

Clean sweep for Sherco in Enduro3

Mirroring their results from yesterday, Sherco Racing Factory again made it an Enduro3 1-2-3 in Wales. Hamish Macdonald secured his seventh win of the year, with Antoine Magain and Julien Roussaly joining him on the podium in second and third, respectively.

Garcia raced to victory in the Enduro1 class, making it eight wins from eight starts in 2025. Today, Bernardini got the better of Persson in the battle for the runner-up result.

In the chase for Enduro2 honours, Pichon capitalised on GASGAS Factory Racing’s Andrea Verona’s costly mistake on the second ACERBIS Cross Test to win by 51 seconds. Ahlin sandwiched himself between Pichon and Verona to take a career-best second. Despite a strong recovery, Verona had to settle for third.

Double delight for Rowett in Expotrade Women’s Enduro

From claiming her debut victory in EnduroGP on day one, RIEJU Factory Team’s Rosie Rowett backed it up by taking the Expotrade Women’s Enduro win on day two in Wales. The Brit was determined to deliver another win for her home crowd and didn’t disappoint.

However, it was her teammate Rachel Gutish who started out strongest with a win on the opening ACERBIS Cross Test, ahead of Team KBS Sherco’s Nieve Holmes and Rowett. Holmes then won the opening POLISPORT Extreme Test to move into the lead, with Rowett three seconds back in second as Gutish lost major time and slipped back to sixth.

Ending lap one, Rowett led by eight seconds over Holmes, with HRC Honda’s Francesca Nocera in third, as Gutish recovered to fourth. On their second and final lap, Gutish was fastest in the POLISPORT Extreme Test and closed the gap, but Rowett responded by winning the final two special tests to secure the win over Gutish in second and Nocera third. Justine Martel (Beta) worked her way into fourth, while Holmes dropped back to fifth at the finish.

The Expotrade FIM Junior Women’s Enduro World Cup saw a new winner emerge with Lorna Lafont (Sherco) racing to victory on day two. Electraction TM’s Elizabeth Test placed second, with local Delun Davies (Fantic) completing the top three.

Cristino claims repeat win in Junior Enduro

With confidence running high for Fantic Factory Racing Enduro Team Specia’s Kevin Cristino following his Junior Enduro win yesterday, the Italian was hungry for more success today. Winning the opening ACERBIS Cross Test shot him out to an early lead and with a superb opening lap of three, he built himself a 17-second lead.

However, a mistake on the second POLISPORT Extreme Test by Cristino saw his lead slip to eight seconds over Australian Angus Riordan (KTM) and Italy’s Luca Colorio (Triumph), who was enjoying his best ride of the season. Extending it back out to 17 seconds on the following GMOTO Enduro Test, Cristino looked to manage that gap as Fantic Factory Racing Team’s Axel Semb and Ox MOTO’s Leo Joyon closed in on Riordan holding second.

Throughout the final lap, the leaderboard continued to swap and change behind leader Cristino. With the Italian maintaining his lead to win by 13 seconds, Semb edged out Joyon by just 0.74 seconds to secure the runner-up result. Riordan slipped back to fourth behind Joyon, while Colorio took a season-best finish with fifth.

Dagna tops Youth Enduro podium on day two

Adding to the theme of repeat wins on day two at the Forsiteservices GP of Wales, Team KTM Pro Racing Sport’s Romain Dagna was not to be left out in the Youth Enduro class. The Frenchman controlled proceedings from the off, winning the opening six special tests to build up a healthy lead. For the final lap, it was a case of race management for the KTM rider, ending his day as the winner.

Enjoying a great weekend in Wales, Gabin Allemand (GASGAS) claimed his best result of the year with second, while Valentino Corsi made it a 1-3 for Team KTM Pro Racing Sport. Fantic Factory Racing Enduro Team Specia’s Riccardo Pasquato and Pietro Scardina completed the top five.

The Paulo Duarte FIM EnduroGP World Championship now looks forward to round five in Vila de Rei, Portugal, on September 12-14.

Josep Garcia (KTM): “I made some changes this morning with the rear moose to anticipate the mud, but it wasn’t the correct direction to go, so we made some changes again and I was able to push harder. The battle with Zach (Pichon) was great, we were pretty close all day. To start out the second part of the season with two wins is fantastic, but there are still many rounds to go.”

Zach Pichon (TM MOTO): “I’m a bit disappointed with my crash in the final Enduro Test, but I had the speed today across all the special tests. This result moves me up to second overall in the championship too, so I’m happy with this weekend and I’m motivated for the next one in Portugal.”

Samuele Bernardini (Honda): “With every test today I had a better feeling with the bike. I was riding well and constantly inside the top five. I’m super happy to get my second podium in EnduroGP.”

Kevin Cristino (Fantic): “I’m super happy to win again today. But it was tough for me. I hurt my foot early on and really had to dig deep to keep pushing. Thank you to my team for keeping me going and getting this victory.”

Romain Dagna (KTM): “I’m happy with this weekend and my performance to take this result. But also for the championship it has been good with my two rivals not having the best weekend. It looks now like I am back into the lead, which is super important for me.”

Rosie Rowett (RIEJU): “It’s an amazing feeling to come to my home round and win both days like this. I was training hard for this weekend and wanted to give myself the best chance for this result. It’s been a tough event here, but I’ve enjoyed it a lot and loved all the home support.”
