Die Servolenkung, die langhubigen FOX® Stoßdämpfer und die Big Horn-Reifen sind Ausstattung auf Profi-Niveau, mit der der YXZ1000R auch auf anspruchsvollstem Terrain die schnelle Linie hält. Der Dreizylindermotor mit 998 Kubikzentimetern wurde auf einigen der härtesten Straßen- und Geländestrecken getestet. Beim Getriebe kann zwischen dem exklusiven sequentiellen Rallygetriebe oder einem Sport Shift-Getriebe gewählt werden. Die GYTR Racing-Kits im Detail
- GYTR Racing-Kit 1 (Baujahre 2016–2018) – für YXZ1000R BJ 2016–2018; Zulassung für die meisten nationalen Rallyveranstaltungen
- GYTR Racing-Kit 1 (Baujahre ab 2019) – für YXZ1000R ab BJ 2019; Zulassung für die meisten nationalen Rallyveranstaltungen
- GYTR Racing-Kit 2 FIA – Zusatzausstattung zu beiden 1er-Kits; enthält Komponenten für die Zulassung zu offiziellen FIA-Veranstaltungen und Cross Country-Rennen: 13.972,94 Euro
Die GYTR Racing-Kits 1 beinhalten einen FIA zugelassenen geschraubten Sicherheitskäfig, Rennsitze mit Skai-Lederbezug, Sechspunkt-Sicherheitsgurte, passgenau zugeschnittene Fensternetze, ein Schutzdach und Schottwände aus pulverbeschichtetem Aluminium, Unterfahrschutzplatten, ein elektrisch betätigter Stromtrennschalter, ein Racing-Kabelbaum mit Schaltarmaturen und einige weitere Teile. Mit den GYTR Racing-Kits ausgestattet darf der YXZ1000R an den meisten Wettbewerben teilnehmen, die unter Aufsicht der nationalen Motorsportverbände und/oder des Motorsportweltverbands FIM veranstaltet werden.
Sind ein 1er und 2er Kit montiert, erfüllt Ihr YXZ1000R alle Sicherheitsvorschriften der FIA (Federation Internationale de l’Automobile) und darf mithin an packenden Langstreckenrennen in Europa und weltweit teilnehmen, z. B. an der von der FIA veranstalteten Baja Aragón. Das 2er Kit macht euer Side-by-Side größerem mit Plug-and-Play- Sicherheitstank, einer automatischen Feuerlöschanlage und dem Lenkradschutz fit für höhere Aufgaben. Das GYTR Racing-Kit 2 folgt in den meisten Märkten nach dem Verkaufsstart der 1er Kits. Weitere Auskunft erteilt Ihr offizieller Yamaha Partner.
Die GYTR Racing-Kits bieten mehr Leistung fürs Geld als sonstige Aftermarket-Pakete. Außerdem kann man sich auf legendäre Yamaha Qualität verlassen und kommen ohne unumkehrbare Umbauten aus. Das Komplettlösungskonzept hat zudem den Vorteil, dass alle Komponenten und Ersatzteile für den Rennbetrieb vom selben Hersteller kommen. Das erleichtert den Einstieg in den Rennsport zusätzlich.
Kitkomponenten fachgerecht einbauen und Vollgas geben
Der Einstieg in den Rennsport war nie einfacher. Bei der Montage der Komponenten muss am Original-Fahrgestell nichts geschweißt oder umgebaut werden. Dank Plug-and-Play-Konzept braucht ein Yamaha SbS-Partner oder eine erfahrene Werkstatt nur circa 16 Arbeitsstunden für die Montage des Kits.

The GYTR Racing kits in detail
- GYTR Racing Kit Stage 1 (MY16 – MY18) – suitable for YXZ1000R from model year 2016-2018, and qualifies the vehicle for most national rally events, or;
- GYTR Racing Kit Stage 1 (MY19 – Current) – suitable for YXZ1000R from model year 2019-current, and qualifies the vehicle for most national rally events, and;
- GYTR Racing Kit Stage 2 FIA– add-on either Stage 1 Kit and contains additional components specifically required for official FIA events or cross country events.
The GYTR Racing Kits Stage 1 includes an FIA certified bolt-on safety cage, racing seats made of Skai material, 6-point safety harnesses, made-to-measure window nets, powder-coated aluminium firewalls and roof, skid plates, electrically operated main power switch, racing wire harness with dashboard switches and so much more to fuel your dreams of victory. Equipped with the GYTR Racing Kits, the YXZ1000R is primed to compete in most competitions under National Sports Authorities and FIM as well!
And if you’re ready for the ultimate racing experience and are eager to tackle the challenging world of international racing, then you will soon be able to upgrade with the GYTR Racing Kit Stage 2. With the combination of Stage 1 and Stage 2 kits, you have all the mandatory, certified safety equipment to qualify a YXZ1000R for the official Federation Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) passport, granting access to drive in some of the most exciting longer races in Europe and around the globe, including the FIA European Cross-Country Baja and Rally events. The Stage 2 Kit upgrades your ride with plug-and-play fuel cells with increased capacity, an automatic fire extinguisher system, and steering wheel protection.
