This year, CST is the second brand in the sales of Maxxis International Germany to follow up with tires for 4×4 vehicles. It starts with three new profiles for the extreme 4×4 segment.

All-terrain profile Land Dragon CL-18 and racing version Land Dragon CL-18M

The Land Dragon CL-18 trumps with its shovel-like arrangement of the tread blocks and the flexible, diagonal tire structure in the 4X4 vehicles as a specialist in the all-terrain area with changing surfaces. When it comes to the technical tire parameters, it impresses with its angular shoulder design and improved traction. A wide groove in the middle of the tread and a convex stripe on the tread accelerate the release of dirt and mud.

The CL-18 is also offered as a racing version CL-18M. To increase performance in sports use, the overall diameter was increased from 883 mm to 915 mm and the angle of the profile changed vertically towards the shoulder, which, in addition to a more aggressive appearance, results in better traction in the mud. The profile has been given expanded shoulders to protect the rims, while a pronounced side groove wicks water and mud better, so that it perfectly copes with muddy and swampy terrain.

  • Land Dragon CL-18M: 35X10.50-16 6PR with E4 approval

CST tires – C-888

Its rough, vertical tread pattern gives the C-888 excellent traction. The optimal power transmission enables safe progress in the toughest terrain. Due to its flexible, diagonal carcass structure, heavy dirt and mud are easily released, which means that the tire can reach perfectly into the ground with every turn.

  • Tire sizes C-888: 32X10.5 -16 6PR & 31X10.5 -15 6PR with E-4 approval.

‚With regard to our expanded product strategy in the 4×4 segment, we have increased our inventory with the cheaper profiles of our second brand CST‘, explains Heiko Daugs, responsible for tire sales in the 4×4 segment at Maxxis International. ‚We have developed the Land Dragon CL-18M specifically to meet the requirements of the drivers at professional off-road sporting events. We are thus setting an example for races with 4×4 vehicles, which, with the exception of a few events in Germany, are still rare.‘
