The Trophy Jeep was running great and we found ourselves out front early. Unfortunately, a flat put us back in the dust with nearly 200 miles still to go. From there, we put our heads down and pushed as hard as we could to try and run Gomez down, but just couldn’t make up enough time before the finish. Huge thanks to the entire team for all the work in the shop leading up to this race and for keeping us moving through the pits. Aaron Quesada killed it in the right seat all day. The course was epic, the Trophy Jeep performed great, and despite coming up short of the win, this was one hell of a battle.
