Despite all the efforts of the competition, no one was able to compete with the world’s best hardenduro rider and professional Manuel Lettenbichler (KTM). As if that wasn’t more than enough to call the 7th victory his own and thus draw level with hardenduro legend ‚The Goat‘ Graham Jarvis (P20), he outclasses the competition with a lead of over an hour. No further words are needed for this: Letti, you are the greatest and have done an incredible job!
For Teodor Kabakchiev, of course, it was a bitter pill to swallow on Manuel for almost 45 minutes on the last day. It was not a question of performance, but a technical defect on his Sherco that caused him this enormous loss of time.
They are followed by the wild boys in the form of James Moore (P3), Matthew Green (P6) and Mitch Brightmore (P5), who reached the finish of the 23rd edition of the Red Bull Romaniacs with a gap of more than two hours or more in the overall standings.
GOLD CLASS – FINAL STANDINGS
The Adventure Ultimate newcomer Mario Roman, but also a hardenduro professional in the classic sports enduro classification, immediately makes it to the top spot of the podium in his debut year in this class and impressively secures the victory ahead of adventure legend Pol Tarrés, who had to accept another more than nine minutes behind and was thus 14m40s behind Mario Roman in the overall standings. It has to be said that Pol had a brutal crash in front of the service point, in which he tore off the footrest and damaged the helmet. Dieter Rudolf was able to take advantage of this fact on his KTM, who put everything on the attack again on the last day and was almost able to catch up with Pol Tarrés. In the end, it was just 1m13s difference in the final score. Kevin Gallas had nothing more to do with the outcome and cleverly secured P4 with a gap of 37m54s. Jonny Walker made it to the finish line with clutch problems and took P6.
