Daniel Sanders started his redemption campaign in perfect fashion, taking the fastest time ahead of Edgar Canet (+12″) and Ricky Brabec (+13″). KTM remains unbeaten in 2026 Prologues, while Bruno Crivilin claimed the Rally2 win for Honda. 132 FIM riders were cleared to start the rally, while 110 FIA crews took part in the event, with the car field completing its shakedown ahead of Stage 1. Next up: 636 km from Agadir to Zagora, including 268 km against the clock.

„Prologue was good, really fun but so intense with notes every 200 metres which made it really hard to find your rhythm. The energy and the nerves are a lot at the start of the race. But felt good on the bike, its working amazing and I was just smiling the whole time. Really excited to get in the stage tomorrow.“

„A little bit of a fall at the start. At about km 1 I was concentrating on the road book and I lost the back end and crashed in front of everyone. But I got up super fast and only lost a few seconds. After that I was pushing hard until the end.“
Ricky Brabec (Monster Energy Honda HRC)
„Yeah good. A proper prologue. It wasn’t difficult riding but the navigation was tricky with a lot of notes. You could follow the lines but you had to make sure you hit the waypoint and not cut the corners too much. Always a good race here so happy to be back in Morocco.“

The entry stats for the 27th edition of the Rallye OLA Energy du Maroc, following scrutineering, are 245 vehicles and 366 competitors.
– FIM: 132 bikes (10 RallyGP, 111 Rally2, 8 Rally3 and 3 quads). Seven riders are entered in the new Malle Moto category. Five women are on the starting grid (four on bikes and one on a quad).
– FIA: 110 vehicles (55 Ultimate, 4 Stock, 25 Challenger, 18 SSVs and 8 trucks).
– Open: 3 entrants (one Stock and 2 SSVs).
The first edition of the Rallye OLA Energy du Maroc Classic features 21 vehicles and 42 competitors.
The total convoy, which will set off tomorrow towards Zagora, comprises 266 vehicles and 408 competitors.
A total of 45 nationalities are represented (FIM: 34 / FIA: 30 / Open: 3 / Classic: 9).
