Honda is not only going full throttle at MXGP with their new top rider Jeffrey Herlings, who is visibly coping excellently with his new Japanese factory racer in the World Championship. The title ambitions are unmistakable, because there can certainly be no talk of a settling-in period here.
The same applies to the new 2027 CRF model range, if you only look at the rough specifications. A whopping 10.3 percent increase in performance, 3.7 percent increase in torque and a weight reduction of an incredible 4.5 kilograms. Is that the new superlative in the premier class? Let’s take a quick look at this with a numerical example, without having checked the actual values on the basis of a power measurement: 55 hp as a basis would be a hefty 60.7 horsepower with the mentioned power increase! This is actually a declaration of war! But there’s a lot more to come…
