Nach der brutalen Durchquerung der Simpson-Wüste und dem Überrollen in den Mt Dare geht das Abenteuer weiter. In Teil 3 unserer Serie Riding 5000km Across Australia machen sich Jemma, ihr Vater und Guy auf den Weg nach Alice Springs, um den Motorrädern mit der Crew von Outback Motorcycle Adventures dringend benötigte Aufmerksamkeit zu schenken. Mit aufgefrischten Maschinen fahren sie weiter westwärts durch die beeindruckenden MacDonnell Ranges und erreichen schließlich das ikonische Tilmouth Well Roadhouse.
Von dort aus biegt die Fahrt auf die legendäre Tanami Road ab – eine der abgelegensten und anspruchsvollsten Routen Australiens – während sie Richtung Broome, WA, fahren. Hier wird die Husqvarna 701 an Jemmas Ehemann Jon übergeben. Nach Abschluss der Übergabe fliegt Guy zurück an die Gold Coast, während der Rest der Crew den Rückweg macht und auf dem Weg nach Gympie über die Kimberley zurückfährt.

After finishing the brutal crossing of the Simpson Desert and rolling into Mt Dare, the adventure pushes on. In Part 3 of our Riding 5000km Across Australia series, Jemma, her dad and Guy make their way to Alice Springs to give the bikes some much-needed attention with the crew from Outback Motorcycle Adventures. With the machines refreshed, they continue west through the stunning MacDonnell Ranges, eventually reaching the iconic Tilmouth Well Roadhouse.
From there, the journey turns onto the legendary Tanami Road—one of Australia’s most remote and demanding routes—as they push toward Broome, WA. It’s here that the Husqvarna 701 is handed over to Jemma’s husband Jon. With the handover complete, Guy flies home to the Gold Coast while the rest of the crew begins their return leg, carving back across the Kimberley on their way to Gympie.
