No easy lines. No room for mistakes. Just Loren Healy, El Bandito and America’s Mountain. 🤘
For the 104th Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, off-road champion Loren Healy stepped completely out of his comfort zone (4:57). He sent El Bandito—his brutal Ford Bronco built by RTR Vehicles (1:42)—up 12.42 miles of unforgiving mountain road (5:23). To transform this dirt-eating monster into a tarmac rocket ship (6:38), the team had to lower the Fox shocks by 12 inches (7:03), adapt the cooling, and switch to 37-inch Nitto tires (7:08). Packing a supercharged Raptor R motor pushing over 1,000 HP, the truck was ready for war against the peak (5:33).
Navigating 156 heart-stopping turns on the way up to 14,115 feet, there was zero room for error. As the altitude rose, Loren had to battle slick tires, fading brakes, and sheer cliff faces dropping down hundreds of feet right next to the track (8:34). Despite extreme sleep deprivation (12:58)—waking up at 1:00 AM just to catch the morning practice sessions (13:31)—the dedication paid off.
It was his first time ever taking on the mountain, and he didn’t just survive; he conquered it (19:15). Loren shattered expectations, beat the class record by over a minute (23:32), and came back a class winner

Press play, feel the intensity, and ride along on one of the most legendary runs in hill climb history.
