Finanzminister Olaf Scholz will „mit Wumms aus der Krise“ und hat damit für viel Aufmerksamkeit gesorgt. Darauf lässt Yamaha Taten folgen und gibt die Mehrwertsteuersenkung zum 01.07.2020 direkt an Endkunden weiter – und das ohne Wenn und Aber. Bereits ab sofort bietet Yamaha gemeinsam mit den Handelspartnern diese Reduzierung für ausgewählte Modelle an.
Das von der Bundesregierung beschlossene Konjunkturpaket umfasst auch die vorübergehende Senkung der Mehrwertsteuer von 19% auf 16%. Um dem Endkunden die Ersparnis durch die verringerte Umsatzsteuer direkt weiterzugeben, passt Yamaha zum 01.07.2020 die unverbindliche Preisempfehlung für alle Produkte an.
Bereits zum 01.06.2020 hatte Yamaha die Preisdarstellung auf der Homepage angepasst und zeigt nun als Hauptpreis die UVP inklusive der anfallenden Hersteller-Nebenkosten (nicht mehr wie bisher die UVP zuzüglich Nebenkosten), damit der Kunde den Gesamtpreis auf den ersten Blick sieht.
An dieser transparenten Darstellung wird auch weiterhin festgehalten. Die neuen unverbindlichen Preisempfehlungen inklusive Nebenkosten werden ohne Rundungen dargestellt. Somit sieht der Endkunde direkt, dass Yamaha die Preisempfehlungen an die gesenkte Mehrwertsteuer anpasst.
Da sich einige Kunden nun überlegen werden, ob sie ihren Motorradkauf auf den Zeitraum nach dem 01.07.2020 verschieben sollen, bietet Yamaha gemeinsam mit teilnehmenden Handelspartnern diesen Preisvorteil schon jetzt für ausgewählte Modelle an.
Finance Minister Olaf Scholz wants to “get out of the crisis with a bang” and has thus attracted a lot of attention. This is followed by action by Yamaha and will pass on the VAT reduction directly to end customers on July 1st, 2020 – without any ifs and buts. With immediate effect, Yamaha is offering this reduction for selected models together with its trading partners.
The economic stimulus package adopted by the federal government also includes a temporary reduction in VAT from 19% to 16%. In order to pass the savings on to the end customer through the reduced sales tax directly, Yamaha will adjust the recommended retail price for all products on July 1st, 2020.
Already on June 1st, 2020, Yamaha had adjusted the price display on the homepage and now shows the RRP as the main price, including the incidental manufacturer costs (no longer the UVP plus additional costs as before), so that the customer can see the total price at first glance.
This transparent presentation will continue to be maintained. The new non-binding price recommendations including additional costs are shown without rounding. Thus, the end customer sees directly that Yamaha adjusts the price recommendations to the reduced VAT.
Since some customers are now considering whether to postpone their motorcycle purchase until after July 1st, 2020, Yamaha, together with participating trading partners, is already offering this price advantage for selected models.
