2021 war ein unglaublich arbeitsreiches Rennjahr. Justin’s Team war begeistert, das Mint 400 zu beenden, nachdem man sich von einer heftigen 2021er Baja 1000 verabschiedet hatte. Offroad-Rennen sind Rennen und die Dinge laufen nicht immer so, wie man es sich vorgestellt hat. Im Vorfeld des Mint 400 fiel ihr Truck auf dem Weg zum Rennen vom Anhänger, beim Zeitfahren fiel das Getriebe aus und wan steckte den lieben langen Tag im Staub fest. Es war ein hart umkämpftes Rennen und das Team hat einige spektakuläre Manöver hingelegt, aber es war nicht für die Mint 400 gedacht. Hoffentlich läuft die nächste Runde jetzt im Jahr 2022 besser!
2021 was an incredibly busy year of racing. We were excited to end it at the Mint 400 after walking away from a rough Baja 1000. Off-road racing is racing and things don’t always go the way we plan. In the lead-up to the Mint 400, our truck fell off the trailer on the way to the race (talk about eagerness to get going!), the transmission failed during time trials, and we were stuck in the dust during a long day of racing. It was a hard-fought race and the team pulled off some spectacular moves, but it wasn’t meant to be for the Mint 400. Hopefully, the next round will go better!
