Der zweifache Dakar-Sieger Toby Price ist in einem actionreichen Offroad-Kurzfilm in Topform. In seinem neuen Offroad-Abenteuer-Kurzfilm „Cracked“ macht sich der Rallye-Raid-Star auf eine wilde Fahrt durch das australische Outback auf der Suche nach frischen Eiern.
Der australische Rallye-Raid-Champion, der die Rallye Dakar 2017 und 2019 trotz schwerer Verletzungen vor beiden Veranstaltungen gewann, ist ein Typ , der aus einem anderen Holz geschnitzt ist. Er würde sogar alles aufs Spiel setzen, nur um seine Mama zufrieden zu stellen, wie es in seinem neuesten Offroad-Film Cracked zu sehen ist.
Nachdem er von einer furchtlosen Motorradtour nach Hause gekommen ist und keine Eier mehr zum Abendessen hat, springt Price kurzer Hand in seinen Mitsubishi Trophy Truck, um seine Besorgung zu erledigen. Der Anblick von Price, der durch sein aggressives Offroading das Outback bearbeitet, wird den Dakar-Fans bereits vertraut sein. Und man wird bei der Rallye Dakar 2020 etwas Besonderes von Price erwarten, da der Australier zum ersten Mal seit Jahren verletzungsfrei an den Start rollt.

Two-time Dakar winner Toby Price is on cracking form in an action-packed off-road short film.
The rally raid star goes for a wild ride through the Australian outback in search of some fresh eggs in his new off-road adventure short film, Cracked.
Toby Price knows a thing or two about overcoming adversity. The Australian rally raid champ, who won the 2017 and 2019 Dakar Rally despite suffering serious injuries before both events, is a no-guts-no-glory kind of guy. He’ll even put everything on the line just to please his nanna, as you’ll see in his latest off-road film, Cracked.
Filmed in locations around Kyogle, New South Wales, and featuring cameo appearances from surfer and adventurer Ross Clarke-Jones and the owner of Patriot Campers, Justin Montesalvo, Cracked sees Price in a thrill-a-minute dash to pick up eggs for his (fictional) family.
Featuring a cute joey kangaroo, kookaburra and a coop of feisty chooks, plus a traditional outback shack, and, of course, Price’s distinct and very Australian mullet, the film riffs hard on both Australian outback culture and Price’s hard-riding rally raid skills.
After arriving home from a fearless motorcycle ride to find there’s no eggs left for supper, Price hops in his Mitsubishi Trophy Truck – the same he’ll be riding at the Baja 1000 – to run his errand.
The sight of Price disturbing usually peaceful settings with his aggressive off-roading will already be a familiar one to Dakar fans. And they’ll be expecting something special from Price at the 2020 rally, as the Australian enters injury-free for the first time in years.
