Die Starterliste für den ersten Renntag ist nach dem heutigen Qualifying gesetzt und Wade Young ist auf seiner Sherco nach gut 38 Minuten als erster im Ziel gefolgt von Alfredo Gomez und Billy Bolt. Beste Deutsche sind Manuel Lettenbichler auf Platz 5 sowie ein überraschender David Braun auf Platz 14 in der Gold-Klasse. In der Silber-Klasse schnappt sich Thomas Arnold Platz 12, während Tim Apolle auf Platz 19 mit 46 Minuten Rückstand auf die Spitze ins Ziel rollt.

Natürlich halten sich viele der Spitzenpiloten beim Qualifying zurück, um am ersten Fahrtag nicht als erster Fahrer die Strecke eröffnen zu müssen. Eine gewisse Taktik ist also auch im Extremenduro-Segment nicht von der Hand zu weisen.

The starting list for the first day of racing is set after today’s qualifying and Wade Young on his Sherco is the first to cross the finish line after a good 38 minutes, followed by Alfredo Gomez and Billy Bolt. The best Germans are Manuel Lettenbichler in 5th place and a surprising David Braun in 14th place in the gold class. In the silver class, Thomas Arnold grabbed 12th place, while Tim Apolle rolled across the finish line in 19th place, 46 minutes behind the leader.

Of course, many of the top drivers hold back during qualifying in order not to be the first driver who has to open the track on the first racing day. A certain tactic cannot be dismissed out of hand in the extreme enduro segment either.
