Nach den technischen Überprüfungen und der Startzeremonie ist die Rallye Breslau offiziell eröffnet. Das Rennen begann mit einem kurzen, 9 Kilometer langen Prolog, bei dem die beiden Kategorien – Extrem und Cross-Country – über getrennte Strecken verfügten. Für den CC war es eine schnelle Sandstrecke mit schwieriger Navigation und für den EX sahen wir eine reine Breslau-Etappe mit herausfordernden Schlammlöchern und Wasserdurchquerungen.
In der Fahrradklasse war es Bartolomiej Tabin (KTM) aus Polen, der die beste Zeit fuhr und seinem Landsmann Krzysztof Jarmuz (KTM) rund 20 Sekunden Vorsprung verschaffte. Ein weiterer polnischer Triumph war in der ATV-Klasse, wo Kamil Baszczynski (Polaris) Marcin Wilkolek (Polaris) mit 15 Sekunden besiegte.
Janus Van Kasteren (Yamaha) holte sich den Etappensieg in der SSV-Klasse mit einem winzigen Vorsprung von 8 Sekunden auf einen anderen Niederländer – Jan Van Gerven (Can Am).
In der Car Open CC-Klasse sicherte sich Mindaugas Povilaitis (Toyota) aus Litauen den besten T
In der Truck CC-Klasse gewann William Van Groningen (Iveco) den Prolog und wird die erste vollwertige Etappe vor seinem niederländischen Landsmann Marc Leeuw (Ginaf) eröffnen.
In der Extreme-Kategorie gewann der bekannte estnische Pilot Hardo Mere (HM7 Proto) den schlammigen Prolog in der Autoklasse mit mehr als drei Minuten Vorsprung auf seinen Landsmann Karl-Erik Abram (Toyota). Stefan Braun (Unimog) war der Schnellste in der Klasse der kleinen Lkw, sein Landsmann Ralf Britz (MAN) wird die Bühne für die großen Lkw eröffnen.
Die erste Etappe von Breslau 2024 bietet rund 136 Wettbewerbskilometer für den Cross-Country und 122 für den Extreme. Der Wettbewerb wird auf dem Gelände der Militärgelände rund um Zagan ausgetragen. CC wird den Sandpisten mit viel Staub und Vollgas folgen. Für die Extreme-Jungs wird es einen speziellen Abschnitt geben, in dem sie sich den üblichen harten Hindernissen stellen müssen.

After the technical verifications and the starting ceremony, rally Breslau is officially on the go. The race began with a short, 9-kilometers prologue, where the two categories – Extreme and Cross-Country had their separate routes. For the CC it was a fast sandy track with a tricky navigation and for the EX we saw a pure Breslau stage, with challenging mudholes and water crossings.

Stefan Braun (Unimog) was the fastest in the samll truck class, and his compatriot Ralf Britz (MAN) will open the stage for the big trucks.
The first stage of Breslau 2024 will offer some 136 competitive kilometers for the Cross-Country and 122 for the Extreme. The competition will be held on the grounds of the military polygons around Zagan. CC will follow the sandy tracks with a lot of dust and full throttle. For the Extreme guys there will be a special section that make them to face with the usual hard obstacles.
