The first innovation for 2026 is already in the naming. From now on, the KTM 125 and 250 two-stroke models will be marketed under the designation XC-W and are intended to reflect full performance for the competition. In plain language, this means that these two models will not receive homologation according to the new Euro5+ standard. Road approval is invalid. Only the 300cc will continue to be called EXC, as it will be the only homologated two-stroke enduro in the KTM Enduro portfolio in 2026.
