Als das Can-Am UTV Hammers Championship-Rennen 2009 zum ersten Mal stattfand, war der Kurs weniger als 60 Meilen lang und es gab nur vier Finisher. Heute fahren die UTVs den selben Kurs wie die King of the Hammers Every Man Challenge und sind durchweg schneller als EMC-Fahrzeuge. Dies ist wohl das talentierteste Rennen in KOH mit großen Namen aus Desert Racing, Ultra4 und Kurzstreckenrennen. Bernd Schäfer vom Team „The Crazy Germans“ steht ebenfalls am Start und geht von Platz 34 ins Rennen.
When the Can-Am UTV Hammers Championship race was first held in 2009, the course was under 60 miles long and there were only four finishers. Today, the UTVs use the same course as the King of the Hammers Every Man Challenge and are consistently faster than EMC vehicles. This is arguably the most talent-rich race at KOH with big names coming from desert racing, Ultra4, and short course racing. Bernd Schäfer from the team ‚The Crazy Germans‘ is also at the start at place 34.
