Das IRC Endurofest-Hawaii 2022 wurde von der Hawaii Motorsports Association ausgerichtet und fand im Kahuku Motocross Park an der Nordküste von Oahu statt. Das Kahuku Hard Scramble-Event und der Kurs wurden von Kapili Olson und seiner Crew eingerichtet, die monatelang daran gearbeitet haben. Es schien, als ob jeder von der Strecke herausgefordert wurde und sie benutzten Splits, die sowohl für Profis als auch für Amateure das absolute Limit waren. Es gibt viele talentierte Hardenduro-Athleten auf Hawaii und über ein paar Dutzend haben sogar ihre Motorräder von Kauai verschifft, um an diesem Rennen teilzunehmen. @codywebb2 und Rich Larsen von IRC waren die einzigen beiden Hard-Enduro-Athleten vom Festland, die zum Rennen geflogen sind. Ein Großteil des Videos zeigt das Haupthindernis des Rennens, einen großen, zweistufigen, schlammigen Wasserfall, der es nur wenigen Rennfahrern ermöglichte, sauber hinaufzuklettern. Schauen euch dieses Rennen am 11. und 12. März noch einmal an! Es wird Runde 2 der @ushardenduro West Championship sein, und ein paar Dutzend Athleten vom Festland werden ihre Motorräder verschiffen.
The 2022 IRC Endurofest-Hawaii was hosted by the Hawaii Motorsports Association, and ran at the Kahuku Motocross Park on the North Shore of Oahu. The Kahuku Hard Scramble event and course was setup by Kapili Olson and his crew that worked for months getting it laid out. It seemed like everyone was challenged by the course, and they used splits which made for some competitive racing for both Pros and Amateurs. There are a lot of talented hard enduro athletes in Hawaii, and over a couple dozen even shipped their bikes from Kauai to compete at this race. @codywebb2 and IRC’s Rich Larsen were the only two mainland hard enduro athletes that flew out to race. Much of the video is of the race’s main obstacle, a big two-tiered muddy waterfall that only allowed a few racers to climb up cleanly. Make sure to come watch this race again this March 11-12! It will be round 2 of the @ushardenduro West Championship, and a couple dozen mainland athletes will be shipping their bikes out to compete in Hawaii.
