$100,000 Prize Pool

Right out of the gate in its inaugural 2026 season, the Hard Enduro World Ranking is sending a strong signal: A record prize fund of at least US$100,000 is already secured for the season. That amount could potentially grow significantly higher, especially as more Supreme-level events commit with the minimum $25,000 entry fee to join the Hard Enduro World Ranking.

How will the highest prize purse in Hard Enduro history be distributed? Simply and highly motivating: US$10,000 each to the Top 10 in the final season standings. It’s not an „elite stars-only“ system where just the top superstars clean up – here it’s all about real momentum and motivation across a broader field of riders.

Picture this: Towards the end of the season you’re sitting in 11th, 12th, or 13th place. Suddenly you spot the opportunity to jump into the Top 10 with one more strong result at another event. That kind of scenario doesn’t just fire up the riders – it supercharges the events too: More starters equals more spectacle, more adrenaline and a scene that comes alive. It’s like the final sprint in a race – every metre counts, the prize is calling, and it pushes everyone to the limit.

Already a massive hit, alongside the legendary Supreme giants Red Bull Romaniacs and Red Bull Erzbergrodeo, who have shaped our sport for decades, a wave of additional events have also registered with the Hard Enduro World Ranking system since the launch in February. As of early March, an impressive total of 18 races across four continents and 14 countries are listed: 2 Supreme, 6 Premium, 3 Masters, and 6 Challenger. The network is growing at lightning speed. And the greatest aspect is that the Hard Enduro World Ranking remains global, open, transparent, and fair.

Karl Katoch, mastermind behind the Red Bull Erzbergrodeo and co-initiator of the Hard Enduro World Ranking:

“With the Hard Enduro World Ranking we’re creating maximum benefit for everyone: Riders gain international visibility, fair opportunities, and real prize money; events grow through clear categories and bigger fields; and the industry profits from a more professional, transparent scene. This is the next big step in the professionalization of Hard Enduro—straightforward, rider-focused, and for the entire community.”

There are two ways to join the Hard Enduro World Ranking:

a) Events register themselves via enduroworldranking.com and then appear on the site with all info, links, and logos, or

b) They are selected by the Hard Enduro World Ranking team.

The classification into Supreme, Premium, Masters, and Challenger follows the clear rules published on the website – based on objective factors such as number of top riders, overall participation, level of event professionalism, and media reach. No favoritism, just hard facts. Registration is still open, and high-quality events (in terms of both quantity and quality) are warmly invited to sign up and become part of it.

Regarding the World Enduro Riders Association (WERA): The riders’ association has announced it will contest only six of the nine HEWC races in 2026. The Hard Enduro World Ranking fully respects this understandable stance and will automatically list those six races as Hard Enduro World Ranking events – a smart move that builds a bridge between the systems and gives riders more options.

Martin Freinademetz, mastermind of Red Bull Romaniacs and co-initiator of the Hard Enduro World Ranking:

“The Hard Enduro World Ranking opens doors for riders and teams with smaller budgets: At the end of the season competitors can actually take home real money—offering competitors a motivational reward for the cost and effort that they dedicate to the sport. At the same time, the event selection respects the reality for all involved—riders, teams, and industry. No pressure, no barriers, just genuine opportunities in a growing and fair scene.”

Just Ride and Score

The standout features of the Hard Enduro World Ranking are: Zero bureaucracy for the riders, no registration, no expensive license, no ranking entry fee, no endless forms. You don’t have to sign up anywhere or pay anything—just show up at one of the listed Hard Enduro World Ranking events, compete, and everything happens automatically. Your results flow straight into the ranking. That’s it. That’s how Hard Enduro should be: pure, direct, fair, and free of administrative anchors. Just ride – the rest sorts itself out.

The Hard Enduro World Ranking is more than just a leaderboard: It’s the heartbeat of the Hard Enduro community. Stay tuned—the 2026 season is going to be epic. The Hard Enduro World Ranking also continues the successful past collaboration with the FIM through its social media channels.
