Die Spannung steigt mittlerweile ins Unermessliche, während sich die FIM Hardenduro Weltmeisterschaft auf zum letzten Lauf der Saison 2021 beim GetzenRodeo macht.
Es wird ein Mega-Race werden: Der Ausgang des diesjährigen Kampfes um den ersten FIM-Hardenduro-Weltmeister ist noch völlig offen. Deutschlands legendäres GetzenRodeo wird zu einem geschichtsträchtigen Schlachtfeld für die weltbesten Hardenduro-Fahrer.
Alles-oder-Nichts
Mit nur drei Punkten zwischen Billy Bolt (Husqvarna) und Manuel Lettenbichler (KTM) in der Meisterschaftswertung ist dieser Titelkampf so knapp wie selten. Billy hat zwar einen kleinen Vorteil, aber es ist nicht wirklich so viel, dass man sich darauf ausruhen kann. Wenn Mani gewinnt, muss Billy mindestens Zweiter werden. Der DRUCK is enorm groß. Mani ist trotz des zweiten Tabellenplatzes in einer wohl günstigeren Position. Alles was er tun kann ist das Rennen zu gewinnen und zu hoffen, dass sich jemand zwischen sich und Billy schiebt, um das Ergebnis der Meisterschaft zu seinen Gunsten zu entscheiden. Das wäre sicherlich nicht der sportliche Weg, den man sich für den ultimativen Titel-Kampf zwischen zwei Piloten wünscht. Denn nur der direkte Kampf Mann gegen Mann ist das fairste und sportlichste Mittel. Aber natürlich entscheiden Punkte, Platzierungen und in diesem Fall der finale Lauf!
Jeder kann zum Spielverderber des anderen werden
Der Fokus liegt natürlich darauf, wer der erste FIM Hardenduro Weltmeister wird. Sowohl Bolt als auch Lettenbichler haben die besten Chancen. Wade Young (Sherco) ist der einzige andere Fahrer mit einer mathematischen Chance, aber er müsste 17 Punkte auf Bolt holen. Young, Mario Roman (Sherco), Jonny Walker (Beta) und Hixpania-Hard-Enduro-Sieger Alfredo Gomez (Husqvarna) sind jedoch alle in der Lage, den ersten beiden einen Strich durch die Rechnung zu machen. Es ist ihre letzte Gelegenheit 2021 zu glänzen und da alle fünf eine Chance haben die Meisterschaft auf dem Podium zu beenden, werden sie alles geben um zu gewinnen.
Der Kanonen-Schuss!
Beim GetzenRodeo ist es Tradition jedes Rennen mit einem Schuss aus einer Militärkanone zu starten. Es ist ein ohrenbetäubender Knall und ein einzigartiger Moment, der die letzte Chance auf Top-Platzierungen in 2021 möglich macht.
Morgendliches Quali-Race
Das GetzenRodeo beinhaltet eigentlich zwei Rennen in einem. Wir haben das morgendliche GetzenRace und nachmittags das GetzenChamp Rennen. Natürlich ist der GetzenChamp der Hauptakt, aber auch das zweistündige GetzenRace ist nicht zu verschmähen. Von den 60 Startern qualifizieren sich nur 15 für den GetzenChamp. Titelanwärter und hoffnungsvolle GetzenRodeo-Sieger müssen nicht nur unbeschadet durchkommen, sondern sich auch qualifizieren, um ihre Ausgangsposition fürs GetzenChamp zu verbessern.

Wels, Austria – October 26, 2021 — Excitement builds as the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship gears up for the final stop of the 2021 season at 24MX GetzenRodeo.
It’s almost time for the last blast of 2021. The outcome of this year’s battle to become the first FIM Hard Enduro World Champion hangs in the balance. Germany’s iconic 24MX GetzenRodeo is set to become a history-making battle ground for the world’s best Hard Enduro riders. Ahead of this Saturday’s racing, here’s some top things you need to know…
All Or Nothing Title Bout
With just three points between Billy Bolt (Husqvarna) and Manuel Lettenbichler (KTM) in the championship standings, this title fight is about as close as it can get. While Billy has a small advantage, it’s not really a lot to work with. If Mani wins, he must finish second. The pressure will be on to deliver. For Mani, despite sitting second in the standings he’s in arguably a more favourable position. All he can do is race to win and hope somebody slots in between himself and Billy to swing the outcome of the championship in his favour.
Spoilers In The Mix
Naturally the focus is on who will become the first FIM Hard Enduro World Champion. Both Bolt and Lettenbichler have the best chance. Wade Young (Sherco) is the only other rider with a mathematical chance, but he’s got 17 points to find on Bolt to do it. However, Young, Mario Roman (Sherco), Jonny Walker (Beta), and Hixpania Hard Enduro winner Alfredo Gomez (Husqvarna) are all capable of throwing a spanner in the works for the top two. It’s their last opportunity to shine in 2021 and with all five holding a chance of ending the championship on the podium, they will be giving it their all to win.
Cannon Ball!
Keep an eye out for the cannon! Yes, as is tradition at the 24MX GetzenRodeo, a military cannon will blast to signify the start of each race. It’s a deafening bang and a unique moment that will signal the start of the action at the final round of the series!
Morning Qualifiers
24MX GetzenRodeo is two races in one. We have the morning GetzenRace and afternoon feature race, the GetzenChamp. Of course, the GetzenChamp is the main act, but the two-hour long GetzenRace can’t be over looked either. Of the 60 riders that will start, only 15 will qualify through to GetzenChamp. Title contenders and hopeful 24MX GetzenRodeo race winners not only have to make it through unscathed, but will need to qualify strongly in order to better their starting position for GetzenChamp.
