GermanCrossCountry Triptis 2025 – Round 1: Gundermann nicht der Sieger – Video + Bilder-Gallerie!

Was für ein Auftakt! Die Deutsche Cross Country Meisterschaft (GCC) startete am Wochenende traditionell beim MSC Triptis in die neue Saison – und das bei traumhaftem Wetter. Die rund 700 Teilnehmer wurden mit besten Streckenbedingungen empfangen. Der MSC Triptis hatte die Strecke perfekt vorbereitet und die Staubentwicklung – bei den trockenen Verhältnissen sonst oft ein Knackpunkt – jederzeit im Griff. Rennleiter Andreas Haupt zeigte sich entsprechend zufrieden: „Wir hatten diesmal traumhafte Wetterverhältnisse, was natürlich auch bedeutet, dass man als Veranstalter stark auf Staub und Fahrbarkeit achten muss. Unser Team hat wirklich alles gegeben, permanent gewässert und angepasst – das Feedback von den Fahrern war durchweg positiv. Genau dafür arbeiten wir so hart: für diese Momente, wenn Fahrer und Zuschauer gleichermaßen begeistert sind.“

XC Woman: Laier feiert Auftaktsieg
Die vierfache Motocross-Weltmeisterin Steffi Laier (KTM Musch / Enduro Koch Racing) setzte gleich ein starkes Ausrufezeichen zum Auftakt und gewann die Damenklasse mit einer souveränen Leistung. Die amtierende Meisterin Laura Soller (Enduro Koch Racing / Snakebite Suspension) zeigte sich kämpferisch, musste sich aber mit einem Rückstand von 1 Minute und 40 Sekunden geschlagen geben. Auf Rang drei fuhr Carmen Allinger (Mx Parts Nine), gefolgt von Hedi Baum (Finkmoto) und Nina Buchholz (AMC Sonnefeld), die die Top-5 komplettierten.
Laier zeigte sich nach dem Rennen zufrieden: „Der Wiesenteil war recht anspruchsvoll, aber ich mag es, wenn es rutschig ist. War aber richtig cool. Am Anfang hatte ich noch mit Armpump zu kämpfen. Danach war viel Verkehr auf der Strecke, aber es hat mir viel Spaß gemacht.“

XC Quad Pro: Reizlein überrascht – Favoriten straucheln
Für eine echte Überraschung sorgte Justin Reizlein (Mates Motorsports) in der XC Quad Pro Klasse. Der Honda-Pilot setzte sich mit einem Vorsprung von 24,8 Sekunden gegen Teamkollege Ole Klotz auf Yamaha durch. Den dritten Platz belegte Kevin Müller, ebenfalls von Mates Motorsports.
Filip Koutecký aus Tschechien, der über weite Strecken des Rennens geführt hatte, fiel gegen Ende zurück und musste sich mit Rang 6 zufriedengeben.
Reizlein war nach seinem Erfolg sichtlich stolz: „Es war ein hartes Rennen, da die Strecke recht anspruchsvoll war. Ich habe mich aber gut von hinten nach vorne arbeiten können. Ich hoffe, ich kann die Performance die Saison über weiter so fortsetzen. Mal schauen, was am Ende des Jahres rauskommt.“

XC Pro: Koch feiert historischen Dreifachsieg
In der XC Pro Klasse feierte Leonard Koch (Enduro Koch Racing / AMC Frankenthal e.V.) seinen ersten Sieg in der Top-Kategorie – und krönte damit ein sensationelles Wochenende. Der Youngster gewann neben dem prestigeträchtigen Pro-Rennen auch die Klassen XC Junior sowie XC Team (gemeinsam mit Lukas Riedißer).
Im Hauptrennen zeigte Koch eine taktisch kluge Leistung, überholte Titelverteidiger Chris Gundermann (Finkmoto Holzgerlingen) in der Boxenphase und ließ sich die Führung nicht mehr nehmen. Rang drei ging an Robert Scharl vom Team Mxtreme Racing.
Koch: „Es war unglaublich. Ich konnte von Anfang an gut an Chris dranbleiben. Ich habe ihn dann in der Box überholt und konnte immer weiter wegfahren und einfach meinen Flow und Speed fahren. Es hat einfach super geklappt. Die zwei Stunden waren lang. Aber mein Vater hat mir den Vorsprung vor der letzten Runde angezeigt und da habe ich einfach versucht, das Ganze sauber und ohne Fehler nach Hause zu fahren.“

Ein gelungenes Wochenende für Fahrer, Veranstalter und Zuschauer
Zum Abschluss des Wochenendes zog auch Bastian Schöner von Promoter BABOONS ein durchweg positives Fazit: „Was für ein Saisonopening! Endlich geht es wieder los. Es ist einfach beeindruckend, wie der MSC Triptis jedes Jahr diesen Auftakt auf die Beine stellt. Ein riesiges Dankeschön an Andreas Haupt und sein Team für ihren unermüdlichen Einsatz – und natürlich auch an alle 700 Teilnehmer, die hier für erstklassigen Sport gesorgt haben. Es war einfach ein tolles Fest für alle Offroad-Fans!“

Nächster Stopp: Venusberg
Weiter geht die GCC-Saison am 04./05. Mai 2025 im sächsischen Venusberg beim MC Mittleres Erzgebirge. Die Nennung ist noch für alle Klassen geöffnet. Nach dem gelungenen Auftakt darf man gespannt sein, wer dort die nächsten Akzente setzen wird.

GCC opening 2025: sun, tension, sensations in triptis

What a start! The German Cross Country Championship (GCC) traditionally started the new season at the MSC Triptis at the weekend – and that in fantastic weather. The approximately 700 participants were received with the best route conditions. The MSC Triptis had prepared the route perfectly and the dust development – otherwise often a sticking point – at any time in the dry conditions. Racing manager Andreas Haupt was satisfied: ‚This time we had fantastic weather conditions, which of course also means that as a organizer you have to pay great attention to dust and mobility. Our team really gave everything, permanently watered and adapted – the feedback from the drivers was consistently positive. This is exactly what we work so hard: for these moments when drivers and spectators are equally enthusiastic.‘

XC Woman: Laier celebrates victory

Four-time motocross world champion Steffi Laier (KTM Musch / Enduro Koch Racing) immediately set a strong exclamation mark at the start and won the women’s class with sovereign performance. The reigning champion Laura Soller (Enduro Koch Racing / Snakebite Suspension) was combative, but had to give up with a gap of 1 minute and 40 seconds. Carmen Allinger (MX Parts Nine), followed by Hedi Baum (Finkmoto) and Nina Buchholz (AMC Sonnefeld), followed the top 5.
Laier was satisfied after the race: ‚The meadow part was quite demanding, but I like it when it is slippery. But it was really cool. In the beginning I still had to fight with arm pump. After that there was a lot of traffic on the track, but I was a lot of fun.‘

XC Quad Pro: Surprise of stimulus – stumbling favorites

Justin stimulus (Mates Motorsports) in the XC Quad per class caused a real surprise. The Honda driver prevailed against teammate Ole Klotz on Yamaha with a lead of 24.8 seconds. Third place went to Kevin Müller, also from Mates Motorsports.
Filip Koutecký from the Czech Republic, who had led over long distances of the race, fell back towards the end and had to be satisfied with 6th place. Local was visibly proud after his success: ‚It was a hard race because the route was quite demanding. But I was able to work well from the back to the front. I hope I can continue the performance over the season. Let’s see what comes out at the end of the year.‘

XC Pro: Koch celebrates historical triple victory

Leonard Koch (Enduro Koch Racing / AMC Frankenthal e.V.) celebrated his first victory in the top category in the XC Pro class-and crowned a sensational weekend. In addition to the prestigious pro race, the youngster also won the XC Junior and XC team (together with Lukas Riedißer).
In the main race, Koch showed a tactically clever performance, outdated defending champion Chris Gundermann (Finkmoto Holzgerlingen) in the pit phase and did not take the lead. Third place went to Robert Scharl from Team Mxtreme Racing.
Koch: ‚It was incredible. I could stay on Chris right from the start. I then overtook it in the box and just went away and just drive my flow and speed. It just worked out great. The two hours were long. But my father showed me the lead before the last round and I just tried to drive the whole thing clean and without a mistake.‘

A successful weekend for drivers, organizers and spectators

At the end of the weekend, Bastian Schöne from Promoter Baboons also drawn a consistently positive conclusion: “What a season opening! It finally starts again. It is simply impressive how the MSC Triptis puts this start every year. A huge thank you to Andreas Haupt and his team for their tireless efforts – and of course also to all 700 participants here. It was just a great festival. All off-road fans!

Next stop: Venusberg

The GCC season continues on 04./05. May 2025 in Venusberg in Saxony at the Mc Mitteler Erzgebirge. The mention is still open to all classes. After the successful start, it will be interesting to see who will set the next accents there.
