Gold-Klasse-Race der 4. Ausgabe des Abestone Hard Enduro, organisiert von Michele Bosi. Es fand in Val di Luce in der Nähe der Stadt Abetone in der Toskana statt. Dieses Jahr war die Strecke kürzer und kompakter, sodass die Fahrer mehr Runden fuhren. Das war gut für Zuschauer und Medien, da man viel vom Fahren sehen konnte. Billy Bolt und Mani Lettenbichler lieferten sich das ganze Rennen über einen großartigen Kampf, der buchstäblich bis zur letzten Kurve ging, die ich glücklicherweise mit der Kamera einfangen konnte. Die Atmosphäre war großartig und das italienische Publikum war wirklich mit von der Partie. Die chronologische Reihenfolge einiger Clips ist möglicherweise etwas ungenau, da ich sie mit einem Camcorder und einer GoPro gefilmt habe und mir dann merken musste, welche Aufnahme wohin gehört. Den X-Loop am Ende fuhren nur Billy und Mani, die sich auf den 3. Platz vorarbeiteten, was ziemlich verrückt ist. Überrundete Fahrer durften nicht teilnehmen. Nächstes Jahr werden wir die Regeln wohl etwas anpassen und dafür sorgen, dass mehr Fahrer teilnehmen.

Gold class race of the 4th edition of the Abestone Hard Enduro, organized by Michele Bosi. It took place in Val di Luce, near the town of Abetone in Tuscany. This year, the track was shorter and more compact, so the drivers did more laps. That was good for spectators and the media, because you could see a lot of driving. Billy Bolt and Mani Lettenbichler fought a great battle throughout the race, literally going all the way to the last corner, which I was lucky enough to capture on camera. The atmosphere was great and the Italian crowd was really part of it. The chronological order of some clips may be a bit inaccurate, as I filmed them with a camcorder and a GoPro and then had to remember which shot goes where. The X-Loop at the end was only ridden by Billy and Mani, who worked their way up to 3rd place, which is pretty crazy. Lapped riders were not allowed to participate. Next year we will probably adjust the rules a bit and make sure that more riders participate.
