Im mittelfränkischen Städtchen Weisendorf im Landkreis Erlangen-Höchstadt werkelt eine kleiner feiner Hersteller an Offroad-Motorräder genau nach unserem Geschmack. Die Marke HVR Bikes hat sich in der E-Mobilität zu einem absoluten Geheimtipp gemausert. Begeistert man mit hochwertigen Komponenten und Verarbeitungsqualität auf Spitzen-Niveau, so kommt noch eine auffällig praxisorientiertes Setup sowie perfekte Leistungsdosierung für den Nachwuchs bei einem erschwinglichen Preis dazu. Auch das Thema Haltbarkeit wird hier großgeschrieben, denn in E-Parks laufen die Anfangsmodelle mit über 800 Betriebsstunden auf der Uhr nach wie vor im Miet-Alltag.
CEO Nina Deitermann weiß genau wovon sie spricht, denn sie hat bei den ganz Großen der Offroad-Szene gearbeitet und besetzte eine führende Rolle bei der Entwicklung der Freeride E. Mit dem Ing.-Titel für Maschinenbau und Industriedesign in der Tasche weiß sie genau worauf es ankommt. Doch die Entwicklung und ihr eigener Enthusiasmus wurde in den Großkonzernen zu stark gebremst, so dass sie sich selbstständig machte – und das mit Erfolg. Die 2022er HVR-Modelle sind bereits restlos ausverkauft!
Was gibt es NEUES für 2023?
Hier spricht der Hersteller klare Worte: MEHR Reichweite, MEHR Leistung und wechselbarer Akku. Das größte technische Highlight der nächsten Generation an HVR 50 und HVR 60 Modellen ist der um 20 Prozent größere Akku, der auch direkt an der Strecke auswechselbar ist. Das bedeute nicht, dass er im Volumen zugenommen hat, sondern dass damit die Reichweite deutlich erhöht wurde. Die Fahrer der GCC-Klasse Wild Child (WCS I) wird’s enorm freuen.
Zudem wurde die Spitzenleistung um 500 Watt erhöht, so dass der Motor im unteren Drehzahlbereich über mehr fränkischen BUMMS – zu Deutsch Drehmoment- verfügt. Das realisiert man durch eine bewährte Flüssigkeitskühlung des E-Motors, so dass die Reichweite voll genutzt werden kann, ohne auf thermische Spitzen Rücksicht nehmen zu müssen. The HVR Bikes brand has blossomed into an absolute insider tip in e-mobility. The topic of durability is also a top priority here, because the first generation models with over 800 operating hours on the clock are still used in everyday rentals in e-parks.

WHAT’S NEW FOR 2023?
The manufacturer speaks clear words here: MORE range, MORE performance and a replaceable battery. The biggest technical highlight of the next generation of HVR 50 and HVR 60 models are the 20 percent larger batteries, which can also be replaced directly at the track. This does not mean that it has increased in volume, but that the range has been significantly increased. The drivers of the GCC (German Cross Country) class Wild Child (WCS I) will be very happy.
In addition, the peak power has been increased by 500 watts, so that the engine has more bavarian BOOST – torque – in the lower rev range. This is achieved by proven liquid cooling of the electric motor, so that the range can be fully used without having to take thermal peaks into account. The HVR Connect app guarantees stepless adjustment to every riding skill level and there is a breakaway switch on the handlebars for emergencies. What more do you want…
