2025: 101st running of the Lands End Trial by The Motor Cycling Club.
Das ursprünglich als „London to Lands End Reliability Trial “ bekannt ist, wird seit 1908 über Ostern abgehalten. Nur die Kriegsjahre und Covid verhinderten die Austragung dieses Rennens.
Die Konkurrenten verlassen Bridgewater, Somerset am Freitagabend und erreichen das Ziel am Samstag, nachdem sie ungefähr 243 Meilen in über 17 Stunden Fahrzeit zurück gelegt haben. Zielort ist Redruth, Cornwall.
Das hier gezeigte Standort Blues Hills, das sich auf den Klippen in der Nähe von St. Agnes befindet, wurde erstmals 1936 befahren und ist einer der herausfordernden Abschnitte für die Teilnehmer. Insgesamt sind 12 solcher Abschnitte und zwei Zeitprüfungen zu absoliveren.
In diesem Jahr gab es Teilnehmer aus ganz Großbritannien, aus Belgien und Deutschland. E standen 360 Konkurrenten in verschiedenen Klassen am Start.

2025 sees 101st running of the Lands End Trial by The Motor Cycling Club.
Originally known as the London to Lands End reliability trial, it has been held over Easter since 1908, with only the war years and Covid preventing the running of the event.
The competitors leave Bridgewater, Somerset on Friday night and finish on Saturday after completing approximately 243 miles over 17 hours, ending at Redruth, Cornwall.
The Blues Hills site shown here , located on the cliff tops near St. Agnes, were first used in 1936 and is one of the more challenging sections for the the competitors. During the main event they will attempt 12 other sections and two time tests.
This year saw entries from all around Great Britain and from as far as Belgium and Germany. There were approximately 360 competitors taking part over the various classes.
