Jimco startet ab sofort die Markteinführung der neuen „Dragon“ Trophy Truck Plattform mit Allradantrieb. Als Weiterentwicklung des Jimco „Maximus“ der 3. Generation nutzt der „Dragon“ die Vorteile der extremen Beschleunigung und der Traktion, für die diese Allradantriebsplattform bekannt ist. Der „Dragon“ ist teils Trophy Truck, teils Rallye-Auto und verfügt über ein speziell entwickeltes CAD-verifiziertes Chassis-Design mit einem Radstand von 125 Zoll (317,5cm) und einer Spurweite von 93 Zoll (236,2cm), um die brutale Leistung auf den Boden zu bekommen und dem Fahrer eine unvergleichliche Beschleunigung zu ermöglichen.
Der „Dragon“-Antriebsstrang verfügt über das perfekt abgestimmte Duo bestehend aus dem sequentiellen Xtrac 5-Gang-Wide-Cluster-Getriebes mit integriertem Verteilergetriebe, das auf ein Xtrac Spool Typ CTR Torque Split Frontdiff abgestimmt ist. Ein massiver Dougans Custom 555ci (9,03 L) Big Block 8 Stack V8-Motorpaket liefert 1050 hp (1065,5 PS) mit 850 ft-lbs (1152,45 Nm) Drehmoment. Vorne bietet der Dragon 24 Zoll (609,6mm) Federweg und hinten 32 Zoll (812,8mm). Der „Dragon“ definiert einen neuen Level im Trophy-Truck-Rennsport, so der Hersteller.
Jimco is proud to announce the launch of the new “Dragon” 4 Wheel drive Trophy Truck platform. An evolution of the Gen 3 Jimco “Maximus”, the “Dragon” moves to utilize the benefits of the extreme acceleration and grip that the 4 wheel drive platform is known for. Part Trophy Truck, part rally car, the “Dragon” features a specifically engineered CAD verified chassis design with a wheelbase of 125” and a track width of 93” to maximize horsepower to the ground giving the driver unrivaled acceleration.
The “Dragon” drivetrain features the perfectly matched duo of the Xtrac 5 speed wide cluster sequential transmission with integral transfer case matched to an Xtrac Spool Type CTR Torque Split front diff. A massive Dougans Custom 555ci Big Block 8 Stack V8 Engine Package pushes out 1050 hp with 850 ft-lbs of torque. All of this is achieved while still maintaining 24 inches of travel in the front and 32 inches of travel in the rear. The “Dragon” defines the new pinnacle of off-road racing performance.
