The final episode of our Trail Hero 2025 series wraps up the week with two very different days on the trail at Sand Hollow. We kicked off Friday by heading out to Ledges, a newer trail located on the far south edge of the dunes. Ledges wastes no time ramping up in difficulty, with constant off-camber sections, steep drops, and puckered moments that demand careful tire placement and solid spotting from start to finish. It’s a trail that keeps drivers locked in the entire way—and rewards you with some of the best views Sand Hollow has to offer. After finishing Ledges, things took a sharp turn from technical to unhinged when Scott, aka the Trail Reaper, decided it was time to send it. He aired it out across the dunes, catching some serious air and giving everyone a much-needed laugh and reset before the final day. Saturday marked the last trail run of the week, and we closed things out on Dead Broke, a newer rated-7 trail, during a hosted run with Yukon Gear & Axle. Shorter than some of the other trails we ran, Dead Broke delivered fun lines, solid obstacles, and the perfect pace to finish Trail Hero on a high note.
