The Italian brand Mondial has been revived in our off-road realms in recent years primarily with a 125cc (regardless of its history since 1948), which has been quite popular with its special design and classic technology. Now Mondial is stepping up the pace with a thoroughly interesting 300cc four-stroke engine in a quite appealing sporty appearance – thanks to designer Samuele Dell“Oro. Visually, it has real taker qualities, but is it comparable to a thoroughbred sports enduro?

The question alone should suggest that this is more of a dual-sport device, but that it seems to be ready for more and could thus bring joy to the somewhat demanding hobby rider without having to give up the road approval. We are talking about enduro hiking, occasional off-road use, but also the legal use of public roads in everyday life up to freeriding. The SMX 300 made its first appearance at the Eicma, as the following video shows.
