Definitiv! Warum? Gut 200 Kilometer nördlich von Athen startet diese legendäre Rally direkt am wunderschönen Pefki Strand, wo sich zugleich auch das Lagerfahrer in erster Reihe befindet. Dahinter verläuft die Strandpromenade samt Hauptstraße gefolgt von Hotels und genialen Restaurants mit ebenso qualitativ hochwertiger traditioneller griechischer Küche.
Hochleistungssport gepaart mit Urlaubsgefühlen, einer genialen Organisation sowie umfangreicher technischer sowie medizinischer Versorgung stellt die Hellas Rally um Macher Stamatis Meletis eine Highlight dar und ist ein absolutes Muss auf der Bucket List.

Gefahren wird mit Roadbook (Digital oder Papier), Tripmaster und Stella. Letzteres kann mit entsprechendem Halter beim Veranstalter gebucht werden. Der Halter selbst muss gekauft werden und kann auch für folgende Veranstaltungen genutzt werden. Die Hellas Rally wird im Rahmen der europäischen FIM Rallymeisterschaft ausgetragen. Diese beinhaltet insgesamt vier Rennen: Spanien, Griechenland, Rumänien und Italien und wird als Tout Terrain Rally Cup bezeichnet. Auch ich plane wieder mit einem Honda Transalp Rally-Prototypen am Start zu sein, um nach erfolgter Feinabstimmung endlich wieder deftig am Kabel ziehen zu können. Natürlich kann man auch ohne Lizenz an den Start gehen – keine Frage.

Die Hellas Rally gehört in meinen Augen zu einer der schönsten Veranstaltungen in Europa. Die Gastfreundschaft der Griechen, das Essen, die Stimmung im Fahrerlager sowie die nahezu perfekt Organisation machen jedes Mal Lust auf mehr. Vor allem wenn man mit Highspeed durch das griechische Gebirgsgelände feuert und doch mal kurz einen Blick auf die grandiose Landschaft der Halbinsel und das Mittelmeer werfen kann. Und das genialste daran ist, der fast täglich mögliche Tauchgang im kristallklaren Meer am Pefki Strand sowie die lokalen Köstlichkeiten zur Stärkung des ausgepowerten Körpers. Nicht zu vergessen auch der eindrückliche Stadtkorso mit über 500 Teilnehmer und der stattfindenden Fahrervorstellung. Einfach ein Erlebnis, dass ein Muss für die eigene Bucket List ist. Egal ob unter Zeitdruck oder in der Adventure Raid Klasse ohne Zeitdruck. Alles läuft etwas gechillter ab, dafür geht im Rennen sprichwörtlich die Lutzi ab, was durch die teilnehmenden Werksteams noch verschärft wird.

Definitely! Why? A good 200 kilometers north of Athen, this legendary rally starts directly at the beautiful Pefki Beach, where the camp driver is also located in the front row. Behind it runs the beach promenade with the main street, followed by hotels and ingenious restaurants with equally high-quality traditional Greek cuisine.
High-performance sport paired with holiday feelings, ingenious organisation and extensive technical and medical care, the Hellas Rally around maker Stamatis Meletis is a highlight and an absolute must on the bucket list.

Driving is done with Roadbook (digital or paper), Tripmaster and Stella. The latter can be booked with the organizer with the appropriate owner. The holder itself must be purchased and can also be used for subsequent events. The Hellas Rally is held as part of the European FIM Rally Championship. In our eyes, the Hellas Rally is one of the most beautiful events in Europe. The hospitality of the Greeks, the food, the atmosphere in the paddock and the almost perfect organization make you want more every time. Especially when you fire at high speed through the Greek mountain terrain and can take a quick look at the magnificent landscape of the peninsula and the Mediterranean Sea. And the most ingenious thing about it is the almost daily dive in the crystal clear sea at Pefki Beach as well as the local delicacies to strengthen the exhausted body. Not to forget the impressive city parade with over 500 participants and the driver presentation that took place. Simply an experience that is a must for your own bucket list. Whether under time pressure or in the Adventure Raid class without time pressure. Everything is a bit more chilled, but the race is literally going crazy, which is exacerbated by the participating factory teams.
